This is by FAR the most expensive gym in town and although it make look nice on the surface, it is…read moreabsolutely HORRIBLY run! The staff basically does nothing but stand around and look at their phones, allowing unsupervised children to run rampant, and when asked to do their job, they act out upon claiming ignorance and pawning you off to a manager who never seems to be available . This goes for ALL locations. When suggesting that some hangers and shelving in the locker rooms are needed, an arrogant guy named Rob replied that "they'd just be torn down by the members, some who sh*t in the shower regularly." When an extra amenity such as the hydro bed is reserved, many times it's either not working or other members sneak in and grab your time. If you point that out the staff does nothing about it. When equipment breaks or needs maintenance - which is often - it takes forever to get it working. They profess to be a quality operation and may on the surface appear to be, but don't be fooled, this is a shoddy and shady ripoff company.

Turns out he lied and tricked me into a 3 year membership. 2 years into the membership I try to cancel. I was told I could pay $500 to quit or remove my husband from the contract but I could not cancel otherwise. They tricked my daughter-in-law in the same process and fooled her into a 5 year contract. Now she can't cancel. Neither of us received copies of the contract! I'm a senior citizen trying to reduce my expenses. They took advantage of us! Crooks!

Staff is mostly friendly and helpful other than a few times when I've let someone know the ladies' restroom was out of soap or paper towels or asked about the water fountain and I've gotten non verbal feedback that says "so, what am I supposed to do about it?" My biggest complaint is the water fountain situation. There is only 1 fountain/bottle refill station. In the 3 months I have been going 75% of the time, the water station is either shut down or needs a filter change. I take my own full water bottle, but often need to refill and cannot do so. So, that's kind of gross. I guess my work-around now that I know this is a consistent issue is to take 2 bottles. Which is annoying when you pay for the highest tier membership. Another pro is that there are tons of classes. I signed up mostly interested in yoga or pilates. To each his own, but I have found 1 yoga instructor I really liked. She only taught 1 class and I assume doesn't work there anymore becsuse her class has just been rotating subs now. Some of the yoga and pilates classes blare music which makew it really hard to hear instructions or focus, evenxwhen the instructors are miced up.

They do not have a click to cancel that actually cancels you, which is now against the law. Very upset. Seems more like a ponzu scheme. Did not read all the scathing bad reviews prior to joining unfortunately. Be aware!

I was REALLY looking forward to this gym! I like frequenting locally owned gyms whenever possible!…read moreAnd from everything I saw, this gym looked to be pretty incredible. Unfortunately, when I arrived, there was a sign on the door stating they don't have any day passes. You can JOIN the gym, but to do so they need payment for your first and last month upfront, as well as your bank information for future payments. If I lived anywhere near here, I would have no problem doing that. But I am in the middle of a cross country trip with my dog, and will only be here till the end of my workout. To make matters worse, I hired someone to watch my dog while I worked out, so I wouldn't get in trouble for leaving her in my car. Now I have to find somewhere else to workout before they call to let me know it's time to pick up my dog. A simple statement on their website would have helped save me a ton of heartache before making my way to this gym, only to be turned away....

Coming from the figure competition world the first thing I have to find is a gym I can train at and…read morecall home as soon as I move to Knoxville at the beginning of this month I was cringing at the thought that my only choices were national fitness planet fitness or anytime fitness. I think big box gyms have their place everyone has different reasons for why they entertain fitness in their life and I think that each one of them offer something for a specific client. For me whether I'm in off-season or training to compete I want a rugged gym and I want the equipment to be well-maintained I want to hear loud music over the speakers and I want to smell sweat and bodies at work! I don't want to see a bunch of rules posted on the walls about what I can't do weights I can't drop bills that are going to ring if I bring my gym bag on my gallon water jug to the floor and most of all I don't want to get hit with a 36 month contract in a bunch a high-pressure sales people telling me about how great their gym is if it doesn't sell itself when I walk in the door then it's not the right gym. All of that to say absolutely fell in love with this local gym the minute I walked in the door and I will tell you that it's not for everyone it has a certain style a certain laid-back vibe no pressure sales for gym memberships it's $30 a month. The equipment is immaculate and there is some thing to train every part of your body I love the different quadrants at the gym where you can fully focus on machines free weights tire work chain work and sprinters. I finally found a gym home and no matter where you are in your fitness journey from bodybuilding down to getting in the best shape starting exactly where you are I would highly recommend this gym. Maybe I can reopen my meal prep business here looks like there might be a need for Coaching In The Kitchen again

Do Not sign anything here other than month-to-month. Seriously…read more Stay away from long-term contracts. You will hear all kinds of sales talk and "special offers" pushing you toward a 3-year agreement. It may sound like a good deal, but with just one signature, you're locked into a three-year obligation. And it doesn't stop there. Every year, they charge an additional "maintenance fee" that they decide. So the amount you think you're agreeing to pay is not even the real total. What you sign and what you actually end up paying are not the same. On top of that, if you don't enroll in autopay, they charge you an extra $14-$15 every month. But they don't clearly show you where or how to set up autopay in the portal. Instead, you get bounced around different systems and portals, and somehow you end up with extra charges. It feels like too many tricks designed to squeeze more money out of customers. Canceling is even worse. You're required to send a certified letter to a P.O. Box just to cancel. There's no real person to deal with. You have to document every step yourself. If they claim they didn't receive your certified mail, you could find yourself stuck in another three-year contract. At that point, you may even have to consider legal action just to get out. This has been a major disappointment. The whole structure feels designed to trap customers into long-term payments rather than provide honest service. Save yourself the stress. Take your money somewhere transparent, professional, and respectful of its members.
