MasterCuts is our family go-to for haircuts. It began after Covid when I realized that cutting hair was NOT in my skill set. Shaun is the only hair stylist our 12 year old will allow to cut his hair, my husband has had great cuts from all the staff, and I have had great cuts from all the staff as well. You should call ahead...they rarely have availability for walk-ins (per my experience) but with a call, they can usually fit you in within a day or two. It's clean, the staff is skilled, they generally seem to get along well, and what I love most is that they are efficient! Life is busy and I appreciate when the stylist understands that and limits the chat so they can focus on the job (unless you want to chat, in which case they are very friendly). If I could give it a zero I would. I made an appointment got there a little early. Brittany that was sitting in a chair said "she will be right with you". She didn't say who I assumed (my bad should never assume), the other person who is the manager Janet came in from outside so I thought it was her... she looked at me curtly as if I had accused her of something. She said nothing just went to her station and cleaned it up. Again she looked at me as if I did something wrong. I said nothing. The manager and Brittany walked in the back while another gal was cutting hair. After the Brittnay and the Manager Janet came back they looked at me and Brittany had a client...I stood up and said "nevermind I dont need my haircut here." The manager Janet with the longer hair said "your appointment isnt until10:30" it did not matter it was 10:29 and I didn't need to feel like they didn't want me there. A smile or an explanation letting me know that the other gal who was cutting someone elses hair was goimg to cut my hair. Just being a little more friendly can make a world of difference. They don't need my money. NEVER NEVER EVER GOING THERE. Service is no better than SUPERCUTS. read more

I naturally have very curly, medium length hair. I'm fairly new to the area. My prior stylist at MasterCuts is no longer working there and she recommended Joe. Joe is experienced and knows how to cut curly hair. He has cut my hair twice and both times I was very satisfied with the cut. I intend to return to MasterCuts and get an appointment with Joe. If you want a haircut by someone with experience and knows how to cut hair properly, ask for an appointment with Joe. read more

Had appointment today with Kylie First of all when I called made an appointment I asked if there was somebody there in the shop that could cut my hair and layer it , the girl on the phone I was talking to was Kylie. She assured me that she knew what to do so I made an appointment with her I I went in today to find out she had only been on the job 4 months... Then, as she was cutting my hair, she had asked me not once not twice three times how I want her to cut my hair around my face. Did I want it around that I wanted it straight and I told her that's why I was going to somebody that knew how to do layering at this point I knew she didn't know what she was doing . Needless to say, I waited for her to get done paid my money left a tip, but in the future, I will go into the beauty shop and check out the hairstylist before I decide to get my haircut again as far as going to Mastercuts, I would check it out before you go .. My hair is cut uneven. It looks like a little kid cut my hair let alone she had the worst attitude I've ever seen from a hairstylist. She was very rude for somebody that didn't know her own job. She was lucky. I was nice and even gave her a tip when she didn't even deserve it for the horrible cut job she did to my hair. I would not recommend her as a hairstylist to get your haircut. read more

Mastercuts was always my favorite place to get my haircut, before today i hadnt had my haircut in years. I had a barbor named jerri and she told me "you know those girls with the long hair and they have a lot of split ends?" Then i said "well yeah" then she asked me how i felt about that and i said that it didnt look that great then she said "well thats you" i was kind of shocked from how rude she was about it she asked me if she could add an extra inch to cut off, i was very clear i only wanted two inches cut off and some long layers. Instead of what i asked she took it apon herself and she cut off not 1 not 2 but 11 INCHES! I am so disappointed by how my hair turned out or how she is even a hair stylist because the long layers are actually just really choppy and short. If you want to keep your long beautiful hair dont ever go to Jerri from mastercuts. They also charged me $36 for just a layered haircut i didnt even get the haircut i asked for. read more

Not too happy the prices went up, but it is what it is. It's the only place in town I take my son and I to get haircuts!

I was charged $36 for a layered haircut! Ridiculous! I had to ask to have my hair dried, shampooed and straightened. Usually it's a given from other salons I have been to and it's all included! This place charges for each thing. The haircut wasn't even good either. The girl was a ditz and too scissor happy, cut it too short. She didn't show me as she was cutting in the mirror either, just when it was done. She didn't seem to cheerful either or conversational. read more

Went in 30 min before close and there were two hair dressers in there, I asked for a simple hair cut when one of the hair dressers was finished. I still had 30 min left. She told me they were all booked up till close. I looked at the schedule in front of here. No one was on it, I explained that there was one customer in the store and two employees and there was still 30 min left. I needed a haircut for my military training, needless to say I explained I wasn't going back ever. A place like that, turning customers away hurts business' reputation in this town. read more

Both times I've been in here I the last few years, my hair has been butchered. The last time, I asked for a face frame and layers, and the girl cut my hair about 3 inches too short, and gave me a pageboy, basically. My mother went in a week ago, they left one side too long, and then when she went back the 3rd time for them to fix it AGAIN, they kept cutting and cutting, so now she has an uneven hair cut that is much too short. Never ever ever go here. Regis Salon is much better, even if you have to spend a few more dollars. read more

Rant..... I have been going to Master Cuts for 20+ years. The last couple of time I have taken my children in for haircuts, the guy with a beard that is working there has been so rude. He was super rude to customers walking in and asking questions. He was rude to my child that was sitting in the hairstylist chair....snapped at him to not spin in it as he prepped whatever.....My child was sitting still in it so he must've assumed that my child was going to take the chair for a wild ride.....it's been a few months since. I went there Sunday. To see about getting my kiddos a quick trim. He was so rude and abrupt with telling me that they were booked for the rest of the evening. I am huge on customer service and this guy is an absolute asshat. My kids even asked me what was the matter with him and stated that he was a grouchy man. I will never be back....3rd strike rule for me. Over the last 20+ YEARS I have spent a lot of money at that establishment. Never again! read more

I came in on quick notice and got a good hair cut for only $16.50. They also would wash my hair for no extra charge, but I chose not to since I just washed my hair before coming. I have curly hair and the stylist did a good job of layering my hair. She cut a little too short in the front (curly hair bounces up more when short), but overall was a good haircut. She also was nice to talk with curing my hair cut. read more

They will either be in a hurry and do a ten minute cut or spend two hours on a cut. No happy medium with them. Cuts and colors have been beauty school level. Witnessed multiple times stylists complaining about other stylists or their boss. Have even witnessed stylists make fun of guests as they left. The lack of professionalism is ridiculous. Half of the stylists look like they rolled out of bed. Color prices fluctuate constantly. Floors and sinks are always filthy. Will not be going there again! read more
