The hotel I was at had no availability and was only a 50 or 75 minute massage with a pretty steep price. I get massages quite frequently and prefer a deep tissue 90 minute massage. I did a search and this company came up. It was only a short distance from the hotel and the price for 90 minutes was in the range I am accustomed to. (Prices are listed on the website) It is a husband and wife team that do this as a 2nd career. Despite no reviews I decided to take a chance. I spoke with the husband, Reed and set a time for the next day. The office is located in what was once probably a motel. There were a number of business offices. Quintessential Bodyworks has a small outer waiting area and a very nice, peaceful massage area. I explained to Reed what I was looking for and to make this short, I was very pleased with the work he did. He listened and only asked to let him know if the pressure was ok, too much or too little. They offer a number of techniques and Reed said his wife was better than he. So, if you are up in that area and want a good massage for a reasonable (in my world) price, give them a call.

This place was easy to book, was super accommodating, provided great service and were super friendly! The outside looks like a little red barn and inside was clean and had a relaxing/homey feeling! After a day of snowboarding (for the first time) my calves and feet were needing some attention so I ditched the slopes for the spa on day two of our trip. Although a full body massage sounded nice, I went for the Trail Mix Leg & Foot Treatment (50 Minutes at $65). This leg and foot was just what the doctor ordered! It begin with me turning on the massage chair ;) and a roasted chestnut soak and callous removal. For the next 35-40 mins my treatment included a whipped honey scrub, a skin softening chocolate mask, hot towels, a leg & feet massage with vanilla bourbon oil, lotion, & hot stones and finally ended with a Honey Heel Glaze treatment to lock in moisture -- and my feet and legs are still silky soft! At first Tarin was very gentle and I was worried the massage would be mediocre, but she blew it out of the water with the perfect deep massage on my calves and feet... She could feel how tight they were and really dug in. It was just what I needed! I do want to notate and give a shout out to Tarin for the awesome customer service when I was in a bind after making an appointment. My boyfriend went to the slopes and I was on my own... When I went to start the car it wouldn't start and as you know in this area, there is a lack of transportation if it's not to a ski resort. I called to explain the situation and she instantly said she would block off a little time after my scheduled appointment time to give me a little wiggle room to get there, and if for some reason, it didn't work out that she would not charge me a cancellation fee. This was so kind and accommodating, and I very much appreciated that understanding and willingness to be flexible despite my situation. It ease my mind they gave me time to figure out a way to get there and still enjoy my time without being stressed. Not all places will be this kind and accommodating, so I come in a small town spa for doing so! Like I said 10 out of 10 experience, I already told my boyfriend I'd be happy to come back to the area and if we do, I will definitely be making an appointment to come back here! Private changing room - it locks and you have a code to access. From the salt lounge to the sauna. Three parts - a sitting area (and benches outside as well); shower complete with shampoo, body wash and conditioner; and sauna itself. The heater, rocks and ladled water did its work. Walked out totally relaxed. Complimentary chocolates, nuts and pineapple tea. I have only one suggestion. Please don't use the small bottles of water. They cause so much plastic waste. Maybe provide each guest with a pitcher full of water and glass.
