Knowing this is a lie, I tell her I am supposed to be able to register my tag in any county regardless of where I live. Looking somewhat surprised that I knew that fact, she then says oh, that's right, but you're gonna have to wait behind all the people who are from Sumter County and you're gonna be here all day. I'm not sure if the tax collector or the young lady behind the counter realizes it but, this is a state tag not a county tag.

We've been there for several things so far, and it's always been a good experience. We go to the one on Powell Road. They also have a drive through for certain services. In addition, the Library is at this same location, so if you need a library card, it's super easy to get one in person.

I must say that I am very disappointed in the handling of my affairs and I will contact them again this date and advised that if they have not finished my taxes I will request that they be given back to me so I can take it to someone who can finish my tax return before the deadline. I don't know if I have upset them to the point where they will not return my calls even though that would be very unprofessional on their part but nonetheless, I need my taxes finished and filed. It is now quite obvious that they will not complete this task prior to the deadline, which will require that they file a request for extension, even though they've had, as stated above, my taxes now for 10 weeks.
