The first tutor while knowledgeable, English was not their first language so it made it difficult to understand for my daughter. In addition they will not schedule less than two hours session which would be fine but they will act like it is a possibility when it most likely is not. I had schedule 2 hours for my daughter with another tutor and she inquired if they could do just one. They said they would check and get back to her if it was possible and never followed back up. They canceled the original appointment I set and never informed either of us about what was going on until we texted to confirm the appointment the morning of.

We honestly did not believe she was going to be promoted to the fourth grade. At first, we tried to tutor our daughter ourselves, thinking how hard could it be? It's third grade! But we realized we didn't have the tools to help her effectively. It just wasn't working. All of us ended up feeling incredibly frustrated and upset. We were in over our heads. We just didn't know what we were doing. We realized we needed a professional tutor who has the education and experience in elementary teaching- particularly in teaching students with ADD. Since we started taking our daughter to Huntington Learning Center in Boca Raton, her confidence gradually began to build as she not only started to learn the academic basics that were being taught in her grade level but the strategies to do so. The program director, Robert, worked with our daughter's teachers to make sure they were all on the same page with regard to our daughter's educational plan. What happened as a result is that out daughter gained such significant knowledge and confidence that she passed the third grade with flying colors!
