Gold Coast Schools is pretty decent but you DON'T need everything they want to sell you. Do not get the Cram Exam Preparation in the package. I did and I am dissapointed. Not because it works or it doesn't, but rather because if you pay for it, you won't get your money back, not even as a credit towards further education. GoldCoastSchools will not refund any money! That's what happened to me. I was going to take the Cram Course but had to wait for a week. So, instead I decided to take the State Exam and passed it. Therefore, I did not need the extra expense. My advice, get the basic education, study and prepare yourself to take the State Test. Only if you fail the State Test go for the Cram Preparation Course. If not you will LOSE your money. read more

I took the 63 hours real estate class, English is not my primary language, I just start to really get it, with so much informations and so many new words and terminologies on my vocabulary.. But I had a great instructor, "Dyane Skopas", she speaks clear and calm, repeats the words many times, so we can memorize and "understand".. I wasn't so successful on the State Exam, I had to take the course again.. then I went to Boca and had an instructor that speaks so fast and never e repeat the frases or words.. this was horrible.. my grade on Pearson Vue with Boca instructor got worst than the first time!!! Took my sales associate course online through another school and it wasn't the same experience. Definitely recommend GC. If you can take it in classroom even better! I took my brokers course with professor Gaspare and he was excellent. Genuinely cares about students and cares about teaching. Classes were engaging and I found the material to be interesting. At the end of February 2023, I got my license and 3 weeks later I started the 45-hour post-license Real Estate Sales Associate class at the Boca-Raton location with Gaspore morning classes on Friday i pass the test and got a certificate! Gaspore used a brilliant method, the material he gave us, he explain to us (reviewed each chapter) and gave us examples. As well as very useful group work between students. Started out w a different online school was taking so long w distractions at home. Wish didn't waste time at home n started in classroom class sooner. The 7 days 9am to 6pm was what I chose to get it done quickly. Didn't have a lot of time to study at home & still passed the test. Thanks to gold coast & our instructor, lakendra. She kept telling us "trust the process" when trying to remember words to learn n pass the class exam. I had Lynn Sanford as my professor and she is the best!! Listen to what she is saying and you will learn. She knows this industry!! I do need to provide an updated caution for other CAM students, who are preparing for their exams, as I'm severely disappointed with the instruction I was given by both of my instructors in regard to preparing for the exam. My 1st instructor told the class not to study the 2 sections on Mobile Homes & Timeshares, as they're no longer included in the state boards. The 2nd instructor said not to study the 2 chapters on Mobile Homes & Human Resources Management, as they're no longer included. Briefly, we were told that each student's test is 100 questions, randomly drawn from a possible 1,500, although their own book states 1K. Whatever... there are several other minor typos in the book I've come across. Exam day... about 80 of my q's were related to condos & 10 were misc (understood... that's random). But, 10 of my q's were on ALL the aforementioned chapters we were instructed to avoid... at least 6 of those q's on Timeshares, 2-3 on MH & 1-2 on HR (I forget the breakdown now)... so, although I did actually lightly read each chapter, I memorized nothing & had to take a stab in the dark & simply guess on 10 q's. Passing is 75. I failed by 7. Anyone's fault? Mine. I need to memorize more for next time. But, I cannot help but be angry that if I had read the 3 chapters I was told to avoid, I might have gotten some or all of those 10 q's correct & passed. I may have guessed a couple correctly... I'm not about to pay a $50 review fee to find out. I know what I had to guess & what I knew, so no review is necessary, imho. So, this is just a firm FYI for the consumer. That was poor form from both of my CAM instructors to guide us to avoid chapters. Don't. Take extra time, read them all & memorize all numbers (%, # of days, etc... as most of my q's involved numbers of some sort). Although you may not have many q's from those "missed" chapters, you just might. I just paid another $68.50 in app fees to retake my exam, which unfortunately needs to be done via snail mail... everything else can be done via 'net. That could take weeks... I don't know their timing, especially around Christmas & New Year's holidays. My fingerprints will probably expire by the time I'm able to re-test (you get 6-mos exp date on those), so that's another $75, as last I inquired, exams are booked until Feb 27th in all nearby Pearson Vue facilities, unless there's a cancellation. Then, I also have to pay another $31.50 exam fee. This was a pricey lesson. I'm over the failure anger (my fault), but I'm still disgusted this misguided advice (not my fault) has wasted more of my time, more of my hard earned dollars & valuable exam points, too. READ & study all the chapters, no matter what the instructors say! read more

He used real world examples that helped us not only remember the material for the test, but also helped prepare us to be great real estate agents. Request him if you can! Melodee was an extremely knowledgable and professional instructor who knows literally EVERYTHING about real estate. She makes complex real-estate concepts easy to understand by referencing them to real-life scenarios and stories.
