What caught my eye from pictures on Facebook was the wall!! I just had to go check it out for myself. The wall was covered with all the best equations that span Algebra through Trigonometry and into Calculus!! The Math Lab is so conducive to a great study and learning environment. The working tables are whiteboards which is a stroke of brilliance!! Students and tutors can workout each problem on the table which is great for learning new concepts. The founder and her staff are so friendly and engage with the students on a one to one level and occasionally many to one. There is no magic to math as it requires hours of hard work to excel in any one concept. In short, the student has to put in the work to be successful. Mathclix was a lifesaver for me. We were going from tutor to tutor to keep up with my daughters classes and my schedule. This place allows you to come when you can and there is always someone there to help. This all at the same price as a personal tutor. Then on top of that they do more than just math. They also offer tutoring in other subjects. The only con is that you have to schedule those sessions. However at least you don't have to search for the tutor you just let Tracy know and she will help you get it set up. Last but not least they do SAT and ACT test prep. They offer practice tests and then one on one sessions to focus on the students weak points. My daughters SAT score went up 120 points because of the tutoring she received. Three months into my son's junior year, he was really struggling with pre calculus. He seemed to be studying all the time, but going no where. I called Tracy at MaThcliX and told her our situation. We signed him up immediately and with in a few weeks they had his math grade turned completely around. His grade got better through out the year and by year end he was very well positioned for AP Calculus in his senior year. Great environment! Very friendly staff and easy to work with. Owner is a Latter-Day Saint (Mormon) and very honest and will even let you know if there is something she won't be able to help you with (me asking for Physics help, not mathematics specifically).
