This company is criminal. We cancelled our account and they picked up their equipment back in 2021. I have spoken to as many as 5+ reps at the company confirming our equipment as been returned, and saying either the account is closed, or they will close our account. We are still being charged a monthly fee, no one will send me a confirmation email after telling me they will. When I talk to the rep there is a momentary pause in the billing, but it starts again in a month or so. Each rep I speak with is not employed the next time I call. No one returns an email. Tried to report to the BBB but of course they are not accredited. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT do business with them. read more

I wanted their serviceman to drain propane from the small tank with a damaged handle spigot that would not turn on. He refused to help me or even show me how to open the valve to release the propane. He would not help because it was not their tank. Aren't all propane tanks virtually the same? For me, its is about service. I have been using this company for over twenty years and what did I get for asking their serviceman to help direct me to where I could get the service I needed? Today I drove across town for a small propane tank refill...and forgot my wallet. AND my tank was so old it was out of date. Absent minded and obsolete...haha! No problem for the guys here, they not only exchanged my empty out of date tank for a new one, but told me "Hey, catch is next time" on the forgot my wallet refill. What a crock of shit I found out today. They state that their propane costs $3.35 a gallon. Used to be $2.90 plus a BS 10% hazardous waste charge that I have only seen them charge. Well guess what, now their no warning hazardous waste charge is 20%, so the $3.35 cents a gallon is $3.90 a gallon in reality. Can't believe I drove all the way from Fallbrook in an attempt to save money to find out I should have just gone to the Chevron in Vista on Vista Way. read more

Unfortunately they do not offer new propane tanks, rather they only fill them... so they were of no help to me. However, their service and willingness to recommended another place for me to go to was greatly appreciated. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Without the long story, only discuss material information in writing and never take their word over the phone. if you schedule propane fills, make sure to confirm the week of on your own so they don't "no-show" you. This was the worst experience Ive had regarding a service or when working with any company generally speaking. Their prices were on average 150-170% higher than any competitor but I purchased a home where they owned the tank so they didn't care. I had to reach out twice a month for about 10 months for them to render some type of proof that they own the tank as they told me they would not show me the proof or ownership since it was signed by the previous homeowner even though the property was now mine. They forced me to pay over $3200 for a 500 gallon tank when they had charged others in my neighborhood $1500 and quoted me that over the phone. Many in the neighborhood had to get the attorney generals office involved and were required to settle with NDAs. When scheduling them to come fill my tank, they filled other houses in the neighborhood and just "forgot" about mine and couldn't get back out for a week which was concerning given the fact that the propane heats my home. do yourself a favor and shop around. It won't be very hard to find several other companies with better rates, better service and far less of a headache. I live in a neighborhood with almost 500 homes and not one person has ever said anything nice about this company. The best comments around propane come when they are celebrating being way from this company. read more

We always go here to get propane and the guys are amazing! We've ran out of propane a few times, and they replaced our tanks with full ones at no charge until we gone back to refill our tanks. Great customer service and their prices are probably the best here in north county. They are closed over the weekends so just make sure to visit them during weekdays! read more

This company is clueless when it comes to rules and regulations concerning permits and use for liquid Nitrogen. They created a huge mess for my business, that included illegal installation of Liquid Nitrogen tanks at my facility. After asking them on several occasions about the legality of what is acceptable for liquid nitrogen storage inside a building, they lied to me more than once and installed the tanks assuring me that all would be fine. Right! When the fire Marshall came to inspect my facility , as they do on a yearly basis, I was looking at a $25,000.00 fine if I didn't get the tanks removed immediately. Just FYI read more

I was in desperate need of a service part for a Miller Welder. I had called around to numerous welding supply stores and I was told it would take about 5-7 days. Since I needed the part yesterday, this was not an option. I called Matheson and the gentleman who answered the phone was very professional and helpful. He indicated he could order the part for me and it would be here the next day- perfect! The next morning at 10 am, he called and told me the part was in.
