Both of my children were having some difficulties with math. We tried Kum*n Lea*rning Cent*r and both of my children HATED IT! It was the culture that really put them off. The center was very disciplined and strict about learning. The kids did not have any fun there at all. The outcome was that they didn't really get anything out of it and we saw no improvement in their grades. Mathnasium on the other hand makes the learning experience fun and both of my kids love it! They are engaged and eagerly interact with the instructors all the while having a great time. The instructors are patient, fun and really REALLY patient. They even have longer sessions in the summer. They split the time with math and playing games. My kids really love the summer classes. The real proof though is that they both have pulled their grades up from C's to A's. My son has even realized that not only is he good at math, he now calls it his favorite subject! Mr. Paul the site manager is very good and gives frequent updates on my kids. While Mathnasium is not the cheapest option for tutoring, it is an amazing value considering how well my kids have done. I frequently "stalk" new customers coming in to inquire about Mathnasium. After they have met with Mr. Paul I will stop them to espouse the benefits of Mathnasium. The ABSOLUTE BEST PART OF Mathnasium...my kids enjoy going and I don't have a fight on my hands every evening. My daughter even asked to continue going when we mentioned that our contract was nearing an end. (We signed up again!) My daughter has even said that when she's old enough, she wants this to be her first summer job.
