Not only that, but she has STRAIGHT A's for the first time since 1st grade! I am so thankful for the team at Grade Power - from their initial testing, they voiced concerns that we already had about our daughter possibly having some learning differences. We had her tested through her school in 2nd grade, and they told us she was ADHD and should be medicated. We disagreed, and didn't medicate, but she continued to struggle in school. Thanks to Grade Power reconfirming our concerns, we got outside testing completed and lo and behold, she is Dyslexic! She has been on a personal tutoring plan at Grade Power and now also has a 504 in place at school to get additional accommodations to help her learn with her learning differences. She even is enjoying reading - something I never thought would happen! The staff and teachers have a genuine love for children, they have very intentional learning goals and make it clear that spiritual growth is a top priority as they incorporate Christ and God into the curriculum each day. Our daughters teacher was phenomenal at meeting her academic needs and with regular communication we worked very closely to make sure the learning continued at home.
