Because those high-demand teachers are often requested a week in advance, it can be difficult to book them last minute. Most teachers are good and will ensure you understand the material, especially if you come prepared with specific questions. With the strongest instructors, you're thoroughly covered. They make sure their explanations are clear and detailed, and they check for understanding. With the less effective teachers, you may need to advocate for yourself more and do additional work independently to get your doubts resolved. Math instruction here is a particular strength!!Shout-out to my goat Victor, his guidance helped me ace a Pre-Calculus test I was convinced I was going to die during. On SAT prep specifically: after attending both Elite and C2 bootcamps, I personally no longer believe SAT prep courses are even worth it. just get good at desmos bro, you don't need to even know math to do well (as someone who scored 1500). If you are set on doing a bootcamp however, C2 was by far the better experience between the two. For college applications, I would not recommend spending your hours here. While they offer college-app help, in my experience they're not especially attuned to what admissions offices prioritize, nor do they try to research it at all. You'll likely get more value from the excellent (and free) resources available on YouTube. That said, their writing + ELA support for school is fine so dw about that. MADE coffee is almost right next door and I love getting coffee before I go in Saturday mornings, that is a mega plus. overall, I really like coming here and it has saved my butt multiple times. the community of it all is wonderful and they make you feel encouraged no matter what. I'm someone who has to engage with a topic multiple times to understand something, so often I feel pretty stupid when I go to other places for tutoring help, but I never feel like that at all here! The tutors are top notch - both experienced, professional. Reza is awesome, he has paired me with tutors and is flexible and totally receptive to our needs and schedule changes. He gives you bios of tutors and you get to select your tutor and for any reason if it doesn't work out, you can change to another tutor. So far, I have only received the best tutors and never had any issue except for some minor scheduling issues that came up on my end and Reza resolved right away. It is nice to have a tutoring company that truly cares about each student and not just about collecting your money. The payment policy is also great because you get a discount for prepaid packages and if for any reason you need to cancel, you get your money back for the unused credits. I went to a bunch of other tutoring centers that charged much more and they had strict policies of buying prepaid and non refundable packages. I felt uncomfortable taking the risk of buying a huge package and not knowing if I liked the place. Also, with tutor genius the tutors come to your home which saves me the drive. All around convenient. Would recommend over and over again.

Over the summer program, I was not only taught how to approach these standardized tests but how to approach studying--habits that I was able to carry over into Cal. I had over 700 point increase after 2 summer programs. Not only did this Elite program help me with my test scores, the whole staff was a wonderful support group and guided me through the college application process. They not only supplemented the little knowledge that I had about the college application process, but also gave me advice and tips with how to approach my college life experience. I needed to take an exam locally and selected Quality Tutoring becase they had the soonest available test date and time. I studied really hard all night and early morning and on my way to the test center I quickly searched for my conformation e-mail. I pulled it up and read it and read that you need to print out a copy of the conformation and bring it with you as they do not allow cell phones in the test center. I panicked because who prints things anymore and there were no places I knew off the top of my head that I could print a piece of paper at and if there were places that I could print at they opened after 9 a.m. I decided to calm down and just show up and see what happens and I'm happy to report, they never once asked to see the conformation e-mail, they just asked for my name and test I was taking and my ID. There was one young woman and you man working. The young man escorted me to the locker where I was instructed out all my belongings in the locker, even my car keys. Shortly after I was ushered to my computer station and began my test. The room I was in was quiet and had no other testers in there at the time. I was able to focus and complete my test without any distractions. I passed my test, gathered my belongings from the locker and dropped the key off at the front desk and was on my way. If I needed to test again I would come back here as it was a pleasant experience and the staff were very polite and efficient.
