While there are paths, sturdy shoes or work boots are good too along with a bottle of water. I did sera sign for bathrooms as well. They have a compost pile on the side.if you happen to have peelings from vegetables feel free to drop them off on your visit and learn how they make black gold for the soil.

We had a group of about 15 Cub scouts there finishing the ferns and animal related topic badge. The lady who gave a lesson about how to track or discover animals around us during our daily life, but the lesson was in a small room with no AC. The boys were not interested in the discussion at all. The session was informative to the parents, but the lady seemed unable to handle younger kids. We then took a nature walk outside and the boys were very into the hike. The trail was clearly marked and easy to access by foot. Parking lot was relatively small. Overall it was an okay experience.

We reserve a time slot on a weekly basis for him to do his work at the center. The center confirms the day before. Every time my son comes in for his RESERVED time that they CONFIRMED the owner never has work prepared for him. She always looks scatterbrained and it is clear that she does everything last minute. There is no excuse in the world for her to be printing my sons work and taking time out of his reserved time when he has other school obligations as soon as he leaves the center. Then of course other students walk in and she does not have their work prepared for them either!!! Poor kids come ready to work and are forced to wait in the waiting area (crammed small space) until she decides to print the work out they were assigned to do. I am highly disappointed to say the least. With the amount the center charges per hour ($145) I would expect for the service to be much MUCH better. I get that things come up here and there but for chaos to unleash every time my son goes in is extra stress that he DOES NOT NEED. Our child loved it so much that eventually she requested to be enrolled for academics program. That was truly amazing because rarely would a young child request this (2nd grade at the time)! She loved all the activities (STEM, robotics, academics including math, reading and writing). I also send them to Sylvan during the winter breaks as they are available for extended hours and have great activities for the children. Lisa and Wing are extremely dedicated owners that care about delivering proper education to their students. They are also very caring toward all the children and are so down-to-earth, always easy to talk to with any concerns or questions. I highly recommend this learning center to anyone interested in excelling or reinforcing their child's studies.

Without even looking up my son's info, they reactively read off a generic bullet list of prepared responses (I guess they get many of these type of calls) ... kid didn't study hard enough, not all kids will improve scores significantly, kid might not have taken Algebra 2 yet (for the record, he has already taken Algebra 2), some past students saw 300 point increases, so problem can't be the program, problem has to be your kid. It's really disappointing that instead of focusing on options to help the student, they focused most of the call on BLAMING the student. I asked if it was an option for my son to repeat the course in hopes that it will result in a better outcome the second time around. They bluntly said: "No, that is not an option. We do not give guarantees" Considering that larger competitors like Princeton Review are confident enough in their program to offer guarantees on your test results, one should think twice before signing up with Excel.

He tried many testing prep exams, but was stuck between 660 - 690 score in the writing/reading section. We felt he was not ready for Ivy League School applications. We then reached out to Mr. Becker for his assistance. After training with Mr. Becker, he was able to reach 720/800 score for the Oct. 2017 testing. We are hoping to utilize Mr. Becker service 1 more time, to raise his score to near perfect or perfect score of 800 in the writing/reading section for the March 2018 testing.
