I am not too familiar with floral arrangements and she was SO helpful in creating a detailed floral plan. I felt extremely confident in her during our planning stages and she was able to relieve all the stress I felt from decorating. Responses were quick and timely! For someone who is very indecisive like me, I felt cared for in knowing that I was able to contact her to give me some advice on decor, color schemes, designs and how it would look as a whole. I was able to collaborate with her on extra details that I would purchase to highlight the floral arrangements. She was so patient, helpful, and encouraging! As I was getting ready to walk down the aisle, holding my GORGEOUS bouquet, the arbor was in clear view and I was so overwhelmed at how beautiful, full, and unique it was. For all you wedding planners/brides, the arbor is the first thing that guests see when they come to your wedding and you definitely do not want to disappoint! Then, when we came out for our reception, I was blown away at how absolutely beautiful our sweetheart table was decorated! As my husband and I were having our dinner, I cannot count how many times we said to each other, "Omg...Laura did SOOOO GOOD!" We wish were able to keep EVERYTHING! But we did bring our entire arbor home just so we could adore it for just a little longer :) And we preserved some of the arrangements, such as my bouquet, his boutonnière, and some of the smaller arrangements. That all changed around Mother's Day, when I made my way down here and came away really impressed with this flower shop. I'm not the best flower-buyer out there. They all look nice enough to me, but I know both my mom and my wife have a keen eye for arrangements so it puts a little added pressure to get it right. Fortunately, they know their stuff here and I can sit back and let them work their magic. The florist who helped me was nice; I simply told them the amount I'm looking to spend, mentioned a few colors or potential flowers that I know the important women in my life would appreciate, and let them handle it from there. In addition to flowers, the place has a good vibe... gifts, cards, some sort of CBD sparkling drink for sale that I probably should've bought, and other goodies. For my money, the local florists like these are the way to go (I also like the one in Westwood Hills) for the nicer occasions. Sure, you can pick some up from time to time at the grocery store or whatever, but if you want it done up and done right, Crestwood scores some really high marks. Check em out!

Not only did we order our daughter flowers then, we have since ordered 4 other times with each order having a specific request. Never have we been disappointed in the interactions when ordering, the final cost, the quality of the arrangements and the amazing creativity displayed in each arrangement. This recent order was due to our daughter moving to the Hyde Park area this Christmas. When I called and spoke to Sarah (which is always a wonderful experience!) I explained only the color preferences. When we arrived to visit our daughter on this December 23rd and I was able to see the arrangements that Bergamot & Ivy had created and delivered I was in absolute awe! The most amazing thing was how perfectly the arrangements fit in her new home on Janssen Place! Absolutely stunning! Worth every cent spent. Once again an epic masterpiece! I thank God I was fortunate enough to "discover " this florist. And, yes our daughter loved the arrangements too! See for yourself. Worst experience ever. I ordered flowers for my wife for Valentine's Day as a husband does. I…read moreordered them online thru www.avasflowers.net who is just an "order gatherer" according to LA Floral. This order is then passed over to LA Floral to fulfill and delivery. The product I ordered was offered in Small @ $44.99, Medium @ $54.99, Large @ $64.99 and Luxury Grade @ $74.99. I ordered the Luxury Grade option but only received the Small option. I'm giving them 2 stars simply because they did deliver on time even if they didn't deliver what I ordered. It was impossible to reach AVAS Flowers and I got a crazy response from LA Floral when I asked that either they send the Luxury Grade version or refund the $30 difference. This is the response I got from them. "The problem is they mis-represent the arrangement based on price. Valentine's week flowers are even higher than normal week -- meaning the farms and suppliers raise the prices, which means we have to raise the price. We did receive $74.99, from which we had to subtract delivery fee, giving us only $67.00 to pay for the flowers/greenery, the vase, design time and Ava's receives 30% of the price we received. Also, the order we received from Ava's did have a recipe but it also plainly stated "Similar," meaning we have to abide by the current pricing. The order we designed was following the recipe but filled only to the retail value." When I replied back that their profit margin is not my issue. I paid for an item based on the size I selected. If I had wanted the small version I would have ordered at the lower price. Needless to say they refused to refund the difference. Their policy is that it doesn't matter what you ordered. They will determine how to fulfill the order based on what they determine to be the retail value. I can't speak for how they do business in person but as for ordering online thru a 3rd party that is fulfilled by them I can say that I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
