Food Lions prices are a little high, but their produce is always misted and fresh. They have…read moreproducts difficult to find unless you go out of your way like mascarpone and Pecorino Romano. The store is always stocked, and cashiers ready to mitigate high traffic times in the store. But Piney Green Store has a cashier with 3 inch nails studded with "gems". Can he stock shelves with those nails? The Dylan Mulvaney wannabe seems to be a token DEI hire. I have shopped there once or twice a week for the past 25 years. Since he has been there I've not seen him do anything other than check out, prance around and go for a smoke break flashing his fingernails. I'm not exaggerating. I've never seen him in the isles stocking shelves. If hire prices can be attributed in some way to pay for this fool prancing around unable to do actual work because of his long gemmed finger nails. He's a non performer. Everyone else has to do the work he can't/won't.

I live a few blocks down the road and have been wise to this problem for years now. I purchased some plums that were firm, smelled delicious and looked perfect! Once home, biting into one proved it was mealy, bland and flavorless just like others previously purchased! The following 5 plums had the same yucky results once tasted. My kids and wife were the taste testers. Its as if the produce department manager and staff are incapable of taste testing incoming fruit deliveries and rejecting them for good reasons, such as : the fruit dos not taste like fruit, but more like 3 day old bland oatmeal pablum!
