Then Dr Sergio Melara (the other extremely young Dr at the practice) diagnosed my foot problem in minutes taking his time to ask questions and most importantly "listen" to the answers! He took ex-rays to confirm his suspicions. Right after getting them he came back in and explained that I have the foot of a circus freak. Just kidding. He capped off this visit with a few well placed corticosteroid shots and off I went. Dr Kaplin and Dr Melara may be young Doctors but they are obviously the most competent podiatrists I've ever been to. Crazy Bernie now has 2 foot doctors who are the only ones that can get within a mile of my feet.

When I finally spoke to her she kept insisting to me that Fresno heart hospital is not in network for my surgery. Throughout the process of waiting for my surgery I was told totally different info by everyone I spoke to. Their communication with Fresno Heart hospital was awful, I could not get a straight answer whether my insurance was going to cover the surgery or not and barely found out ONE DAY before I was supposed to have my surgery that the heart hospital where they operate is not in network under my insurance. Unacceptable when you're in pain and have been waiting months for a surgery and now have to start the process all over again due to their laziness and poor communication.

He squeezed me in for surgery within two weeks, came and visited me in the pre-op waiting area and even called my husband after we discharged home and I was resting to go over the procedure and answer any questions. He was thorough, really took his time talking things over with me and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Everyone thinks Clovis Community is the place to go, but CRMC's care is top notch and the only place I want to receive surgical/acute care. My moms had a procedure at the hospital across the street and ended up admitted. We had lodging the night before but today was not planned. A nurse mentioned Terry's House about 5am in case things changed and when they did I was on it by 330pm. I trusted my gut that she wasn't being discharged and yup it happened. I went to YouTube and learn more about this wonderful establishment. It's such a beautiful blessing for families with a loved one admitted into Community Regional Medical Center. Terry's House can accommodate 20 families every night. The families here help support one another during times of need and have a shared experience with a loved one next door. The parking lot is spacious and safe. The suite that we have can accommodate 4, and perfect for me, my sister and niece. We can stay here as long as my mother's admitted for a fraction of the cost of hotels and if one qualifies then they can stay for feee. The staffs friendly, give you a grand tour and just overall pleasant.

We both found him to be very professional, caring and explained what he was doing and the need to have a complete ultrasound of his feet. The office staff was also professional, caring and was able to get my son an appointment for the ultrasound at their Clovis location. We would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for a cardiologist in the Fresno area. PS: the traffic coming in from Los Banos at 12Noon was not bad and the traffic on E. Herndon ran smooth.
