Harbor Dental had the results from all 3 of our family members, and before making the 1st appointment, I was assured this would not be a problem, this was just the 1st incident that I disputed). Despite that, additional services were added to the bill without prior discussion of cost or informed consent. Patients deserve transparency and respect for their preferences and coverage limits. If you go here, insist on a written treatment plan and itemized estimate before any work is performed, and verify coverage in advance.

That was exactly how I felt walking into Park Family Dental. And for me, that's a BIG deal because I have pretty extreme dental anxiety from a childhood dental trauma. I originally went to Park Family Dental for a cleaning and a cosmetic consultation with Dr. Long, who I had researched extensively beforehand. The practice already had thousands of amazing reviews, but what really stood out to me was that Dr. Long is the only AACD Accredited cosmetic dentist in the area. That was especially important to me because I knew my case could be a little more complicated due to my childhood injury, and I really wanted someone with that level of training and expertise handling the cosmetic side of my treatment. My hygienist, Catalina, was so sweet and patient. She knew how nervous I was and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time. As it turned out, my case was definitely more complicated than I expected. What started as a cleaning and cosmetic consult uncovered a longstanding infection that I had absolutely no idea was there and ended up requiring some pretty extensive dental work. Being a medical professional myself, I was immediately impressed by the level of clinical expertise in this office. They were able to do a 3D CT scan right there, and I was able to consult with Dr. Macedo, who specializes in endodontic procedures. I ultimately needed multiple root canals as well as an apicoectomy with bone grafting. Dr. Macedo and her assistants, Miranda and Mary, were amazing. I honestly never knew it was possible to inject dental anesthetic without feeling a thing until Dr. Macedo did it! She and her team were incredibly gentle, patient and thorough and somehow made procedures that sounded absolutely terrifying to me go incredibly smoothly. Once all of that was taken care of, Dr. Long and his assistants Katia and David worked on the restorative and cosmetic part of my treatment, including the numerous crowns I needed. One of the things that really sets this office apart is that they have an on-site dental lab, which meant their ceramist, Lance, was able to be directly involved in creating my final smile. Lance is truly an artist. He and Dr. Long personally worked with me to make sure we got the shape, color and overall look exactly where I wanted it. I am honestly in awe of how my smile has been transformed. After everything that needed to be done, the final result is more than I could have hoped for. I won't go so far as to say I actually look forward to going to the dentist , but in just a few short weeks, the entire team at Park Family Dental managed to put fears I've had since childhood almost completely at ease. Considering they got me through root canals, an apicoectomy, bone grafting and extensive restorative and cosmetic dental work during that time, that is saying A LOT! I really can't say enough about this office. From Loyse at the front desk, to Catalina, Dr. Macedo, Miranda, Mary, Dr. Long, Katia, David and Lance, I felt like everyone genuinely cared about both the medical outcome and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. I get it going to the Dentist can be expensive and in some cases painful. My most recent experience was on 7/21/26. After a 6 month cleaning on 7/16/26 conducted by Kalen who did a great job as he always does. I was then examined by Dr. Natalia my first visit with her. This place is no pressure and for the last 3 cleanings I had been kicking the can down the road and Dr Natalia called me out on it with all the evidence. Pictures of failing fillings, decay that got worse, decay under a crown that got bigger.... Pictures don't lie, x-rays dont lie, they show the progression. You have to listen and take action when problems arise. I had to get 3 new crowns and hope teeth could be saved. Kendra gave me an estimate of what my insurance would pay and also what I would have to pay. TRANSPARENT. Then I asked Kendra about a summer special they were running on Denistry needs I saw on website which she verified and did not know and BAM. I was happy about total price. Kendra was awesome. Flexible got me a 7:00 AM appointment to complete 2 crowns on 7/21/26. Well today was the day. Dr Natalia and Cley the dental assistant completed a seemless 2 crown tooth cleanup installation that I am HAPPY about. Cley and Dr Natalia were a team and kept things moving. It was my first dental procedure with Dr Natalia. She was honest with past evidence of my dental short coming that I did not address. Look, no one is excited about seeing the dentist but if you want to keep your teeth and have the LEAST amount of work you listen to your Dr. I walked out of there with great fitting crowns, on time and ready to go back to work. Cley was instrumental in fitting the fresh milled and baked crowns which made Dr Natalia's install quick, easy and painless. Very happy camper right now and get the final crown next week. When I was home I asked Liz by text , so I need to bring over $23,000.00 on day of procedure? She said yes. I told her I was not going thru with procedure. She said well they are keeping the $6,650.00 ! I have not been back so Cherry finance has took over $2000.00 out of my bank acct (for absolutely nothing mind you ) & cherry says I'm late on my payment (they probably have ruined my credit now for no procedure what so ever!) because I have stopped them from letting them take $ out of my acct !!!! I blame myself for…read morenot doing my basic homework in selecting a dentist with the specialized training and credentials that are essential for consistent safe implant procedures. The American Dental Association allows general dentists to do all types of dental operations. Dr. Sullivan had the word implant in the name of his practice but did not possess the skills and degrees that should have been associated with his business name. I am a snowbird from Michigan who came to him with a loose tooth after seeing a few good reviews on the internet . He told me he could remove the tooth and put an implant in one day. He just happened to have an opening the next morning. I should have been suspicious but he seemed trustworthy. I was in the dental chair for 3 very uncomfortable hours and charged $6200. After 1 week returned complained of numbness in left side of face including lips ,tongue, cheek and gum. He said it was nothing and said I should come back in a month which I did. When I complained again of numbness he said I should see an oral surgeon. I have not seen him since but I have seen four other specialists that are trying to complete the implant procedure. Basically he damaged a nerve and also put the implant in a very acute Angle that now requires an abutment be used for the crown . The numbness has not gone away.
