I have been a patient of Dr. Paul Mabe for six years. In that time, I have experienced several dental emergencies and received all my dental maintenance at the Naples Family Dentist practice. There are no words for how impressed I am with Dr. Mabe, Amanda (my dental hygienist), the Clearcorrect teeth straightening expert, and Marci and the office support staff. Having relocated from New York City, I was very concerned about finding world class dental care. What a relief to discover Naples Family Dentist right here at the intersection of Tamiami Trail North and Immokalee Road in North Naples. Dr. Mabe is awesome and provides state of the art dental care. He is also FAST (a highly underrated skill until you are the one receiving dental care!). He does beautiful work! At 65 years old I elected to have my teeth straightened using the Clearcorrect system provided at their office. The improvement in my appearance has been shocking. I didn't realize how my teeth had shifted with age and the change took years off my smile. Finally, the professional staff at Naples Family Dentist, from the insurance support, to hygienist, to the dental assistants, are consistently kind, patient, and exceedingly effective. The dentist Dr. Mabe said a tooth was cracked and needed a crown, and if nothing was done the tooth would be infected and lost within months. We went for a second opinion from a dentist that said there was nothing wrong with the tooth. It is almost two years later. I waited to write this review, in the event Dr. Mabe proved to be right. Several routine dental exams later, from a dentist other than Dr. Mabe, and the tooth is fine. Thankfully we did not listen to him, which would have not only been expensive, but it would have meant grinding down a perfectly healthy tooth. I strongly adivse getting a second opinion before letting this dentist do any work on your teeth. read more

My daughter chipped her two front teeth and we went in for a consult to help come up with a plan to fix them. Dr. Mabe was so wonderful explaining everything out to her to the point where we left the office feeling so calm and confident with his care. We went back today to have her teeth fixed and they saw her nerves and they adjusted the plan to help her be at ease. They ended up doing everything as discussed and the results were AMAZING. My daughter walked out with the biggest smile. The Whole office is amazing. From the front desk, the hygienists, and Dr. Mabe, you get amazing customer service and really feel comfortable in the office and in their care. I moved here in 2018 and I had a dentist in Massachusetts that my family and I thought very highly of. I thought that I would never find a dentist as good as my dentist back home. And then Dr. Mabe and his team appeared. WONDERFUL, POLITE, EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, AND VERY FRIENDLY. I felt like I was back home again. I am a former Dental Hygienist, so I have some knowledge of what kind of skills a dentist and his team should have, and Dr. Mabe, Yvette, Marcy and Terri surpass all those skills. I had the best and the most thorough cleaning that I have ever had and I also had a crown done. The whole procedure was painless and to tell you the truth I dozed off for a little bit. Look no further! ENJOY a "dental experience!" New to Naples last year, I dreaded the thought of having to find a new dentist. I read websites, I called around, I asked questions, and called the final top two choices back with more questions! (I especially wanted a dentist that believed in and promoted holistic health AND could be a one-stop-shop, performing all necessary dental care.) My hubby and I have both had several visits now with Dr. Mabe and staff, running the gamut from filling, cleaning to crown replacement. Just had my initial visit at Naples Family Dentist and I had to write a review immediately. Dr. Mabe and his Team are wonderful! I have only been in the area for less than two years and I think I found my new dental home. Everything from my initial conversation with Marcy to my cleaning with Amanda and then my consultation with Dr. Mabe was just a pleasure. They are friendly, understanding, gentle, personable and accommodating. Amanda provided the best cleaning I have ever had...I could tell she is a perfectionist because she spent so much time making sure I have the best smile and healthiest teeth possible. She was gentle and always concerned for my comfort level. Thank you Amanda!! Dr. Mabe was thorough and I appreciate the fact that he actually listened to my concerns first not just the issues he would like to take care of. I never write reviews, but this time I had to write one. My daughters orthodontist was concerned she might have a cavity behind her front tooth. Her pediatric dentist moved so I made an appointment with Dr. Mabe. I was informed that she had cavites in 14 teeth. That's right fourteen! They only did 4 bite wings, they did not x-ray all the teeth they claimed had cavities. All for $195.00. I called another dentist for a second opinion the next day. He did a full set of x-ray's and a full exam. He said no cavities, staining in the grooves of her teeth. He called another dentist and that dentist did an exam and looked and the x-ray's, he said NO cavities, staining in the grooves of her teeth. All for no charge! They had me take her to a pediatric dentist. Results ...No cavities, staining in the grooves of her teeth. I got home and the phone rang and it was Yevette calling to tell me my insurance wouldn't cover composite fillings on the back side of the teeth and the amount of money I would owe, I told her that wouldn't be necessary as I had a second, third and fourth opinion and a full set of x-rays and all of the other dentists said there were no cavities, she said ok, thank you and hung up. These people would have drilled into 14 perfectly healthy teeth of my young daughter all to get some money. They are unconscionable!! Stay far, far away!!! (They got a star because giving them no star was not an option!) read more
