John said that was possible, but only for a fee (a percent of the loan). Unfortunately it seems that escrows are built into the underwriting itself, so not much we could really do to get around the fee. Just know that if you don't want to escrow. I got ao frustrated, i ended up putting them all on email copy to tell them it is their job to share docs and to communication. They dragged their feet scheduling a VA appraisal- if you use VA you understand the relevance of a timing VA scheduling. They had me emailing around documents instead of using the portal. And in the end, they didn't account for our homeowners insurance in their closing numbers. I thought it was paid until I got a letter of cancellation. We had to pay out od pocket.
