I was referred by Matt by my realtor and I couldn't be more thankful!! From the beginning, Matt was kind, informative and very willing to help me on the purchase of my new home. I'm going to provide a run-down because I feel this man deserves every bit of it and I urge all future home buyers to use Matt and his team! I had only 30 days to close on my property during COVID and I was late in hiring an attorney to look over the disclosures and begin the home buying process in Chicago. I called Matt's office in desperation and he informed me the process would be tough, but he and his office could definitely handle it (and boy was he right). Matt provided the contract and we began the home buying process. He notified me to attend the inspection and inform him on anything peculiar, which I did. Matt called me as soon as the home inspection was received to let me know about the faults on the property and how to proceed. His review was detailed, organized and very thorough! He even made some recommendations on things we should add to the contract to prevent any future issues. Luckily, we had a pretty smooth inspection, so I'll fast forward to signing the closing documents. Matt phoned me prior to signing the closing documents to inform me on the process, things I'll need to read beforehand and when we could expect the keys for our new home. He even took a last minute request of reviewing the documents the night before the signing to help reduce the time during the day of signing. It was literally the SAME DAY of me phoning Matt and asking him if there was anything we could do to speed up the signing process so our movers can start moving things right away. Not only did he save us 1-2 hours on the day of signing, but he followed up 20 mins after we signed the documents to inform us that everything was done and to call our realtor for the keys. We picked up the keys 10 mins after signing and moved in our things right away. A couple days later, we received a congratulatory email from Matt with instructions on how to pay our mortgage, utilities, etc. He provided a thorough breakdown on how our taxes worked, what to do if we didn't receive a notice for the first payment and precautions to take about certain aspects. I can't say enough positive things about this man. He deserves an amazing review because that's how amazing he made us feel throughout the entire process. We just knew we were in good hands and I still talk about him to this day. I highly recommend him to anyone making their home purchase in the Chicago area! We weren't able to meet him because of COVID, but I felt like I knew who Matt was just because of his prompt responses and willingness to help. I HIGHLY recommend using Matt Rich, he was recommended by our real estate agent and did a great job assisting us with the sale of our condo in Chicago! We live in Arkansas, and this was the first time we've sold a property. On top of that, we had a complicated sale with a couple tax issues and a difficult property management company. Throughout the sale Matt was very responsive by phone and email, even on vacation, and ALWAYS had our best interest in mind.
