As a longtime patient of Dr. Kevin, I had high standards for my dentist. I was happy to see that Dr. Matt was equally caring, skillful, and innovative. In addition, the staff is fantastic as they all work so well together and are well informed about patients' needs and circumstances. I have had pervasive jaw troubles since 1986 when I first saw Dr. Kevin and I was delighted that Dr. Matt is also interested in solving jaw problems. He is patient and objective in analyzing dental problems as well. During any procedure, he is communicating what he is doing which I find helps me. However, I think that the entire office shines during patient emergencies. I have several examples to share. Several years ago, I was in New York when I began to experience severe jaw pain which continued for a month; Dr. Matt solved that difficulty by recalibrating my bite during a two week period. Secondly, last Christmas I was on a cruise in the Caribbean when I had a throbbing toothache; the ship's doctor put me on painkillers so that I continue on the cruise. I was really worried that once I got home I would be waiting for a long time to see a dentist. I emailed Dr. Matt's office on Christmas Eve Day and Connie, the office manager, responded and had an appointment made for me with a root canal specialist on December 27. 7/11/2013 Edit " I had been shamefully holding off bringing my three year old to a dentist for a decaying tooth since it wasn't causing discomfort. I had just moved out to the Waukesha area and did not know any dentists that I felt comfortable with for my daughter. One day I received a flyer in the mail for Stone Ridge Dental and found there $99 deal too hard to past up. Matthew Smith resembles a friend of our family so my daughter was excited to go to the dentist and tell him that. Finding ease for her prior to the appointment was important to me. From the moment we checked in for her appointment, she was all smiles. The staff were amazingly understanding of her new experience and approach the entire exam slowly and educationally for her comfort sake and mine. She was given a goodie bag which included a toothbrush which really left her happy. I was very impressed by Mr. Smith's professionalism and really appreciated the entire office staffs' ability to meet our needs. The really cared for us and showed it. I felt valued as a customer and would recommend him for anyone. I love his dedication to his family that is evident by the beautiful pictures that decorate the walls. They give a "homey" feeling to the office. I will begin to see him for my own future visits and look forward to introducing my other two daughters to him. Thank you SRD! The office was clean and bright, the staff is always courteous and kind. Dr. Matt Smith is very professional, approachable and entertaining! My kids (4&2) even love going to the office as the staff and Dr. Smith are all over the top sweet to them! I have been going to Stone Ridge Dental for about 40 years and followed Dr. Kevin where ever his office moved. I have always been happy with the professional service that I have received from everyone at the office. When Dr. Matt took over, the service remained the same which was very good. Everything was always explained very well and they all think first of their patients which is important to me. I would think that a good motto for their office would be: OUR FIRST CONCERN IS YOU! I have never had the privilege of saying that I love going to a dentist, but with Dr. Matt and his team, I truly enjoy the experience. They are incredibly kind, patient and work with my whole family!
