This doctor basically crippled my wife for life. Three other doctors post-surgery have confirmed his egotistical attitude regarding his abilities as a surgeon destroyed my wife's quality of life. He is an uncaring human that purposes to be a Christian man. Not our experience. On a Thursday, he argued with my wife at her post-surgical appointment when she stated she thought her foot was infected. His answer was, you have no infection; however, she is hospital by the weekend and spends 25 days due to infection. Hum... Awesome doctor. I went in for my toenail and was given more than one option to treat. His office is clean, orderly, and nice. His office staff is wonderful, as well are his nurses. Griffin is my favorite nurse, he makes you feel comfortable and makes you laugh so you're not as nervous about getting cut open on your toe! I had a hiking accident in November. I had, what they call a bimalleolear ankle break and dislocation. Which means I broke the fibula, part of the tibia, and it was unstable. My foot flopped. The emergency room doctor wouldn't touch it, they had an EMT brace my ankle and they called in Dr. Cerniglia. It was late on a Friday night and he performed my surgery on Saturday. I needed a plate and nine screws. Afterward he asked me if I had had some trauma to that ankle in the past, which I had, and he said he found a bone spur while he was in there and went ahead and took care of it. The recovery was hard but he and the people in his office were amazing. Everything went along the timeline he had laid out, and their communication is great. They have an awesome patient portal where you can see notes from every visit and if you email them with a question, they call you to respond. I always saw the same nurse, Jessica, and Griffin does a great job at wrapping injuries. That sounds unimportant, but when you have to keep your ankle wrapped for a couple of weeks, comfort is important. Everyone I had contact with in the office was great, and they really seem to like the doctor. I think that says a lot. My ankle actually looks like an ankle again. And I tell everyone if they ever have need of a foot and ankle guy, he's the best. I hope to never need him again, but keep his number in my phone if I ever do. He is awesome. read more

After going to 3 different "specialist" for my chronic foot pain that impaired my ability to even walk normally, and told by all 3 that there was nothing they could do, I was referred to Dr. C and at my very first appointment he was able to identify the problem, and had me back on my feet and pain free within a week. I have since sent both of my Grandparents to him as well as my 11 year old son for a possible fractured ankle. I called this place because of what appeared to be stellar reviews. However I did not have a good experience. I didn't even get to setting an appointment. I have gone online and requested an appointment and I never got one. I thought maybe it was a fluke. Then I called the office and the woman on the phone wanted to see if she had anything available. She kept me on hold for a long time. Their phone rang back to them and I heard her just hang up on me. I ended up calling Advanced Foot and Ankle Associates in Lake Worth, where a really nice receptionist named Brittany helped me get set up with an appointment there. read more

I've had "bad feet" my entire life. I've been in and out of podiatrists offices and physical therapy for longer than I care to remember. By age 15 I was tired of hearing "you have ankle pronation and flat feet but these inserts will help." They never did. I gave up and my feet grew more and more painful every year. By age 20 I couldn't stand or walk for more than 5 minuets without being in terrible pain. I decided to give it one more try not daring to hope... I found Dr. Creniglia's number Nd made an appointment. The initial appointment went just as you'd expect it to-- nice front end staff, X-rays, paperwork... After the X-rays I was nervous. Would he give me the same bs diagnosis I've heard my entire life!? Worse yet would he will me nothing could be done? Noticing my anxiety the office manager Alfredo Bedolla came in the room to chat and take my mind off of the impending disappointment I was preparing myself for. When the Doc finally came in he smiled and without preamble told me that I needed major surgery. My first thought "S***" second thought "wait what?!" third thought "well hell"... A lot went through my head in about 2.5 seconds lol. After we talked and went through everything that was wrong (with both feet) I was left with the dangerous almost foreign feeling of hope.. Could I actually have a life with little to no pain? 4 years and 6 operations later I am fixed... I can walk, run, play with my son. I can do anything a normal 25 year old can do. Surgery was a success. Dr. Cerniglia is the best doctor, along with having an amazing staff. You know your in safe hands, when he is working on you. If I could rate a negative star, I would. One star is way too generous. I have never written a review on a doctor before but I have to do it today...DO NOT LET THIS GUY TOUCH YOUR FEET! I had ingrown toenail surgery done on both big toes 5 MONTHS AGO by him and continued to have problems and pain the entire time. On the day of the procedure, he told me that he would kill the roots and that I should be fine in a few weeks...5 MONTHS LATER, I could not wear closed toe shoes nor could I stay on my feet without pain. Once I went to a REPUTABLE podiatrist yesterday, he had to completely redo the surgery on both toes and showed me that the roots were still intact. Yesterday, my new podiatrist explained to me that the reason that I was still having problems was because the nails had grown back ingrown and with infection since the roots were still there. I left many messages regarding my account and they did not contact me back for months. Take my advice...DO NOT USE DR. CERNIGLIA FOR INGROWN TOENAIL SURGERY UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY HIM FOR NOTHING AND SUFFER NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS! read more
