Dr. Thompson is cavalier and petulant. His wildly-fast office-visits ( under 10 minutes) are not solution oriented, but dismissive and ultimately problem-prolonging. Any money you spend avoiding this place, will be money *well* spent. The office staff is lovely, caring and efficient. If they get a better doctor on staff, this place will be unstoppable. read more

I went to this provider for several years. I spent thousands on inserts, insoles, and shoes. I used OTC anti inflammatory meds, iced my foot daily, and elevated daily. I was told originally that I would eventually need surgery. That doctor left and when I went back the new doctor (2 years later) wouldn't retake x-rays and suggested the same I had tried before. Igor frustrated and found another podiatrist. I had surgery 2 weeks ago. The pain, even right after the surgery was SO MUCH LESS than what have suffered the last 3 years. Get a second and third opinion if you go here and get platitudes. Incompetent. Don't even waste your time! read more

I can't begin to say enough about the positive attributes surrounding my involvement with Dr. Mark Thompson and the ENTIRE STAFF at A.F.A.A. On Azle Ave. in Lake Worth, TX. EVERY employee was ALWAYS nice, polite, and cheerful. Throughout my ten month ordeal with a severe ankle injury Involving diagnosis, surgery, and therapy. I think the longest I waited in the waiting room was at the most 7 minutes, on one appointment. 5 minutes or less for the other 20 or so appointments. The day of the surgery Dr. Thompson arrived, explained to me and my sweetheart, which ankle and what procedure he was performing and made us feel it ease. After the surgery, Dr. Thompson explained to me and my sweetheart the outcome, and that all went well. Which I don't remember ‍, but she explained to me later. Dr. Thompson is a very qualified and skilled doctor and surgeon! As well as nice, polite, and has a good sense of humor. I would also like to add that Nikki, who is in charge of filling out all the insurance paper work was extremely helpful. I put her through A LOT of work and she came out like a superstar! If all businesses operated like this the world would be a much better place! read more

I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. I have never received any BUT great care from both the Dr. Pendleton, AND his staff! Dr. Pendleton is incredibly compassionate, and courteous as well. He has never had an issue prescribing an appropriate level of pain medicine to meet the reasonably expected amount of pain. If beyond that...consider maybe there's still something going on inside that needs correction?? Not trying to WebER or anything, just saying for someone who spent over 10 years in pain management. It's a viscous cycle! doesn't matter to me anymore, but unfortunately for those that can't get out...are being punished for monsters that those same doctors helped create. Surgical Dr's hands are pretty much tied because of what pain management Dr's have created. Anyway, sorry for the rant! Out 1st visit was the best experience! My father and I were in and out in less then an hour. Our Dr Russell Pendleton was efficient, detailed and effective for my dads foot problems. He provided solutions to his concerns. The ladies at the front desk were so helpful and sweet. One of them even helped me look up my dad pharmacy information on my phone. Dr. Caroline Stancukas at Advanced Foot Care is A+, bottle rockets, 100% and three thumbs up. Dr. Stancukas listened patiently to my stories about my painful strained tendon I have had for decades and about my bad experience with my last foot doctor. She questioned and examined me at length and explained the source of my problem before treating me. Four days later on vacation I did a rugged 3.5 mile mountain trail hike with no problems, which this 64 year-old is proud of! Normally, I do not give reviews because it's tedious and doesn't usually benefit anyone but the business. In this case, I find that it will greatly benefit the patients (like me) in getting the kind of support and care that we should expect from the medical community. I have been to at least 4 podiatrists over the last 6 years with issues surrounding my feet, in particular plantar fasciitis. All of them tried to help & in some instances I had a brief reprieve from the pain. I've now had 4, FOUR surgeries to bring back my quality of life. I'm 41 years old and I've been struggling with this crippling pain for far too long. In walks Dr. Stancukas. At first, I thought I was going to need a translator due to her smarts and my ill-equipped knowledge of what was causing my pain. But she baby-stepped me through every comment, discussed solutions as though I were one of her colleagues. She made me feel that she cared just as much about my issue as I did, and I genuinely feel she does. Anywho, over the last six months I've gotten to know this outstanding doctor, her staff, and the office manager Holly and here's what I've found: - They genuinely care about their patients - Whatever you need, they will move mountains to accomplish if & when it is possible - I wish all Docs were as knowledgeable and caring as Dr Stancukas - They always find a way to get you in & get you treated quickly - Last but not least, I feel that I'm not only getting top notch treatment..... but it's looking like I'm going to get my mobility/life back. I recently visited Dr Pendleton at Advance Foot and Ankle for a bone spur. It is a new and attractive facility located near to where I live and has lots of convenient parking. The entrance has an automatic door for easy in and out for people who may dealing with issues with an ankle or a foot. Everyone that I spoke to during my visit was great. Dr Pendleton has a clear and soothing voice that put me totally at ease. He answered all my questions and I am doing my best to follow his advice to be sure I get the best results possible. Originally went due to a bunion on my foot. Had the surgery set up and everything. When asking about pain medication, was told that the only medicine they could prescribe me was Tylenol 4 and hydrocodone. I can't take either of these meds because I'm allergic to codine. Upon telling the nurse and doctor this, I was told that if I needed anything other than those 2 medications, that I'd have to go to a pain management clinic. WTF??!! Hello.. you're my doctor!!!! You can prescribe many different types of medicines for pain! Why would you even want to prescribe a medicine to me that I can't take???? Totally unprofessional office staff! So, so, so, so rude!!!!!! Will never go back to this location again! Doctor has totally no compassion to the wants and needs of his patients. Telling someone to go to a pain management clinic because you don't believe in prescribing anything other than 2 medications.... TOTAL JOKE!!! Go to Dr. Angel Lopez instead...
