A few months ago I noticed and felt a tender lump on the side of my foot which made it difficult to wear closed shoes. The doctor took an xray and showed me that I didn't have the type of surgery I was told I was having because the typical surgery requires one screw be placed in my foot but I had three screws and they weren't in the correct place where he explained they should be. I thought the lump was the screw but it's actually my bone because the surgery wasn't done properly. Dr. Ward explained absolutely everything and was extremely professional, while being friendly at the same time. I would recommend this foot and ankle specialist to anyone needing such a doctor.
