Just bad service. #1 - misdiagnosed, and I went to another podiatrist and get everything fixed immediately. #2 - I am still dealing with billing issues, six months after my one visit. The receptionist/accountant basically is pointing the finger at me for their "change in accounting software" error. Can't people just pick up the phone and call me? Why in the world would I be opening mail from Matthews Foot Care five/six months after my one visit - now all of a sudden I owe them more money for terrible diagnosis and service? Over charged my insurance company to have my daughter's planter wart removed. DO NOT USE THIS DR. THEY ARE LOOKING TO GET RICH ON EVERYONE. THEY ARE OVERCHARGING THEIR PATIENTS. From the reviews I have read, I see I am not the only one that got overcharged. I repeat, DO NOT USE THESE DOCTORS. WILL PAY A LOT OF MONEY OUT OF POCKET DUE TO THEIR BILLING. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. This Dr. charged $262 for office or other outpatient visit for the evaluation and management of a new patient and $262 for Destruction (laser surgery, electrosurgery, cryosurgery, chemosurgery, surgical curettlement of benign lesions other than skin tags or cutaneous. I would post of pic of bill but not sure if I can. I spoke with someone from the office today and they are not adjusted the bill. read more

I had seen Dr. Killian in Lincolnton years ago but chose the Matthews location because it is now closer to my work. I was scheduled with Dr. Jackson who is a new physician with the practice. He told me I needed Bunion surgery. I made sure they went to a surgery center new my home before I scheduled. Now that I requested to schedule surgery, they no longer do surgery at any facility other than Union West. Also, I have called their surgery scheduler 3 times and never get a call back. I took my 13 year old son to Dr. Kevin Killian at Matthews Foot Care for ingrown toenails. My son was very nervous about the procedure. I told this to the doc, and these were his exact words, "Too bad, tough, life sucks and it's going to hurt." My son looked horrified and he proceeded to put his shoes back on. The doc says he won't fight him and then he just walks out and went on to his next patient. That is no way to treat a child and we won't be back to this office. Terrible bed side manner and no compassion what so ever! read more
