There are bogus charges such as spending a half hour to look over her witness list. There were no witnesses. Mr. Allen never contacted my ex wife's legal representative to negotiate anything on my behalf (confirmed) I worked out all the details, then at the arraignment he started "negotiating" so he could charge more(confirmed). The process took 25 minutes his "negotiation" took 3 hours. That tactic resulted additional money for her legal fees. There are reviews that say he's biased to the women. Based on his "negotiating" I would say is very true. The women seem to think he's great in their reviews, but they're creepy and unprofessional innuendos. He also tried to convince me it was better for the state to garnish my wages. I'm guessing he makes a percentage(unconfirmed). He stretched and wrung out every possible cent he could from me. I never felt as though he had my best interest. Janie his paralegal is extremely blunt with a sharp attitude. She makes you feel like you're some sort of troublesome chore. I wanted to fire him but then I would have to pay some other retainer fee. It was 14000 altogether. My wife spent 2500. She won. You tell me. Shop around this guy is not in it for you. Brooks did an excellent job of…read morelosing my case, the question is, where do I start with their lack of professionalism? 1) they didnt send a preservation of evidence letter to the gas station I was hurt at, so the gas station owners got to delete the video footage without any consequences. 2) I experienced a constant turn over for a legal team- 6 or 7 case managers and 3 attorneys over my time as their client. None of them paid attention to detail, I was just a case number for them to close, win or lose. 3) THEY LOST MY ENTIRE MILITARY MEDICAL RECORD DOCUMENTS. I dropped off a file of over 500 pages in 2022 and found out in 2025 (as the dismissal Hearing was approaching) they didnt know what they did with my entire service medical records. These records were direct evidence of my health decline post gas station incident. 4) I singlehandedly laid out my case with med records, google maps data, photo evidence, cataloged opposing counsels inconsistent testimony, etc. Yet they still lost my case. 5) Misinformation was a serious issue; a week before the case was lost the attorney told my husband and I if we lost, we'd have to file for bankruptcy. The day the case was lost, the attorney said he would have to call the medical providers to negotiate down the medical bills. A week after the loss, the same attorney told me it would be best to disappear and hopefully the medical providers wouldn't pursue me financially and would use my bills as a tax write off. 6) They have a "Client's Bill of Rights" in their representation agreement, and in newsletters they proudly send out. Read the Bill of Rights and know they are not going to fulfill their end of the agreement. If your case requires any skill, attention, or effort, this is not the law firm for you.

Well those days are gone as this company just blow me off and would not do anything to help. So I started looking online for a local attorney close to the area I live.
