He then texted the morning of the cancelled appointment day to say he could come that afternoon. When that was not convenient for us he said it didn't seem like we were going to "gel" on this project and he would pass on it. Not sure why it was so difficult for him to schedule a firm time for our project. We were pretty flexible for weekdays and very flexible on time, just needed more than a few hours heads up.
