I myself spent 34 days in hospital 3 yrs ago with a severe illness and emergency surgery. To say my back (I have bulging discs ) was trashed is an understatement. We bought a Sterns and Foster with adjustable frame when I got home. It was great!! It helped my back and with my next 2 surgeries. Problem is that 3 yr old mattress has body indentations that don't pop back up even when sleeping on other side. I didn't want him to go thru the same thing. The service and set up was great. I love that all materials are from the US and without chemicals, fiberglass etc. also, some of the nicest people you'll meet. I highly recommend them and we will definitely shop here again. For someone with neck issues (disc replacement ) and lower back issues a great mattress is a must for me, so I'll be seeing y'all again real soon. Anyone needing a great mattress go check them out.

Having been horizontal on the Sleep Number version for all those years I decided to look back at the traditional mattress market again. Out and about on a Sunday afternoon excursion with a friend, the mattress topic came up and she insisted that we visit America's Mattress since she needed to make a pillow purchase anyway.. Meeting store manager Brittany was much appreciated as she made the whole process a whole lot easier due to the fact that she was respectful, not pushy and very knowledgeable! She never hesitated to answer any and all of the questions I threw at her and gave me plenty of space and time to test out multiple mattresses during both of my visits. At this point, I have yet to have my new mattress purchase delivered - but I will be sure to update the review after that is completed.

During the move i got some dirt on the mattress cover and when the replacement came I was told that my warranty was void due to it being dirty. I washed the cover to the standard on the tag and everything came out, but when i called to get it replaced the store told me that it was possible that i used chemicals and the warranty was still void. Needless to say i got pretty upset at the fact they were stonewalling me. Now I have a $3700 mattress sitting in a spare bedroom. Never buy from any of these stores, and never buy tempurpedic.

Everything was easy, half down and the balance upon delivery. He said it would be since is was a "special order" it would take 4-8 weeks. I spoke with John the end of March, he said it should be coming in any day. Called again in mid-April, John said he would check on it. Finally it came in and was delivered & paid for in full on May 1, 2026. First thing I noticed was the pillows were not the color I originally ordered, and notated on the order form. Called Tyndall that day, May 1, 2026, to go over the order and yes, they sent the incorrect pillow color. Was told it could take 3-5 weeks. Then a few days later noticed the legs were also NOT the ones I ordered, also notated by photo on the order form. Went in person to talk to someone since on May 15, 2026, since no one was returning my calls. John confirmed color and reordered pillow covers. June 11, 2026 Maryanne called to say that the pillow covers are in. Asked about the feet, she said not in yet, but would call me back when the feet and pillows were in. June 27, 2026 Maryanne called to say that the feet were no longer available and will main the pillow covers "today". July 13, 2026, called Maryanne about not getting the pillow covers yet. She said he forgot to put them in the mail and they were sitting right here on her desk and will send UPS & expedite. July 21, 2026, a friend was going that way (35 min drive) and said he'd stop in to check on the pillow covers. The receptionist located them in their back office . At the top of the Work Order it said "Called Customer 6-11-26, customer will P.U. Since that date I had called three times to try and get these pillow covers! And I just got lies. Tyndall customer service is great.... once you pay the money. After that, the customer hardly exists. Very Poor Customer Service! I will not recommend Tyndall to anyone for that reason.

I insisted I did not like pillow tops and he insisted on selling me one and I caved under the pressure 5000+ later I get in touch with corporate and there's absolutely no way to get in touch with them so people be aware when you shop at mattress firm. You have to constantly deal with sales person which to no avail helps. They will not take back the base from the adjustable bed and that alone was $1900. I will no longer be using it and I still have to pay for it because they will not take it back.. So living on a fixed income I have to eat the cost of $2000 of the base from the bed. Does that seem fair so beware the only people that you can talk to will only be the highest in the store is a manager. This is a very unsatisfied customer that will never do business again with mattress firm, and I also will be telling everybody that about the return policy, which is unfair.
