The size won't work in the new house and it has been QUITE the challenge finding a worthy replacement. After visiting virturally every mattress store within the area, we were between a few at Delta Bedding and others at Big Box stores. To our regret, we ultimately decided upon Delta Bedding to support a local company that has been in business for over 40 years. This was a poor decision on our behalf as you are only given 30 days to try out the mattress. We went on vacation and upon our return surpassed that 30 day limit. We were told not to worry, they would make things right and suggested we walk on the bed twice a day and break it in. We did so and still no luck. The bed we received was not as soft as the one we tried in the store. After the walking on it daily didn't do help to break it in, we asked if we could trade it in for a different mattress and pay the difference, re-stocking fee, etc but they would not do anything as we were over that 30 day window. So now we are stuck with an almost $2k mattress thats been sitting in an encasement in our garage since we found another mattress that doesn't cause us to wake up in extreme pain daily. Both of us were living at Chiropractor and Acupuncturist. We are extremely fit in our very early 40s and have never had such issues with a mattress. Moral of the story is to buy a mattress with a better return policy because as we all know the quality of sleep is ESSENTIAL to our overall health and well-being.

This was a positive experience, but the bed just didn't work for us at this time. They told us that they would waive the return fees. Come pick up the bed as long as we pick and purchased another bed at this point we were dealing with Dave. Unfortunately, the bed did not work for us. I could tell Dave was a little bit upset at this point. He told us that we would have to purchase a more expensive bed in order to do a return. I believe the bed cost like $7000. I have arthritis at this bed also did not work for me. I called up for the return at this point in time Dave expressed to me and told me they would not take the frame back which I understand. I paid close to $1000 in payments and he said that they would refund me. These were his words, not mine. He told me not to make any more payments towards the bed that synchronicity. This is the bank that they go through are the card service that they go through to make payments I am very diligent about making my payments on time. I am diligent about keeping my credit score in good standings noticed a 10 point drop and it was due to the fact that they said that I wasn't making payments on a bed that I no longer had. I called Dave today and he told me that it was due to the fact for all the returns they stated that I owed $1700 again I can only be honest I let him know I'm not gonna pay $1700 for a bed that I don't even have anymore. He said work it out with the credit card company. I said what about the reimbursement that you promised that I would receive for all the payments I made again I can only be honest about my experience and these two gentlemen seem to be nice and honest at first, but I do believe that they took advantage And I understand that they work on commission unfortunately this is not good business and I stand behind what I've written I hope this will help somebody to make their decision. They will bill you for everything. They will get every ounce of blood they can from you so the returns are not Without consequence. That's all I'm saying.

Dusty was there and he was very low pressure on sales but was also very helpful when we were ready to ask questions. He steered us towards a great mattress for our budget and our needs. We went to Matthews because of the great yelp reviews and because it's close to where we live. Dusty also got us a very nice discount from the listed price! Delivery was great, on time, and the guys who brought the bed up and set it up were nice and good sports about having to carry it up to a third story apartment. I hope we are not in the market for a bed anytime soon but when we are we will go back to Dusty at Matthew's!

However, after going through a 30 day try out and return for refund from a Big Box mattress retailer in Folsom, I became self-educated. We went to Robert at American Mattress in Jackson and told him our current bed status and need for improvement. We settled on a Serta Motion Signature Adjustable King set with two 'twin ex long" Serta I Series Honoree Super Plush Top mattresses. We were in a spot, because the original return left us with only a Queen to sleep on and my wife's mobility was a factor. So Robert arranged for a loaner bed system for us to use until the new mattress/foundation was delivered within a week. His installation crew was very polite and professional even through delivery days presented bad weather and a long steep driveway. As far as pricing and buying local Robert was very price completive with the big box mattress store from the Valley. Robert was very flexible and patience with us and always exhibited professionalism and patience.
