After going in circles with other fireplace retailers I was finally pointed towards country elegance. Upon walking in I was greeted by Linda who asked me if there was anything she could help with. When I started talking about the issue with my over 20 year old propane stove I heard a voice from upstairs call down asking me to reiterate the question. A woman I now know is named Michelle informed me that she is a fireplace expert. And boy was she right. She quickly explained to me how my stove worked and showed me parts to compare to what mine had. She sent me home with some homework and her phone and email so I could send pictures of my unit. She walked me through trouble shooting the issue and helped me find a solution. She showed me how to use a wire to jump the unit and confirm that it would light. We decided I would switch to a thermostat and she suggested that I purchase the cheaper of the two options that she carries in store. She said "it's simple and easy to use and the more expensive one won't do you any better." My house will now be warm and cozy for my son and I. They've earned my business and hopefully you'll give them a chance to earn yours! read more

Driving by I noticed this charming store I just had to check it out. Walking in the store it had a warm tone and was country chic unfortunately I can't say that for the manager or owner of this store. She was NOT customer service friendly plus she had a bad attitude. I noticed her answers were sharp and unfriendly which took away from the charm and elegance of the store and that's a shame. I'm absolutely blown away by the attitude of the owner. I went in about two weeks ago to discuss purchasing a new stove unit and was overall happy with the service. I was told to give a cash or check by that day to receive and even bigger discount. I wrote her a check and was told my stove would be in this Wednesday and that the installer would contact me to set up a date to install. When I wrote the check I was told this was for the last unit she had in stock so I let the first lie slide. Over a week and a half had gone by and my check had not been cashed so I tried calling probably 10 times with no answer... so I stopped in to see what was going on. Her response was "we've been slammed and we haven't had time" with a very passive aggressive tone. I politely disengaged and left without telling her how frustrated I was with the tone of her voice. I left and waited to hear about my install. The day before the installer cancelled due to weather but from my understanding I should have been on call for yesterday and since it didn't rain I could have had the install. My buddy told me he he got his installed by another company which made me wonder why mine didn't. I texted the installer and didn't receive a response. So today I called in to ask why we didn't install yesterday because my my buddy got his done by Sierra. She flipped out on me and said she would just give me money back and that I should go to Sierra. I was blown away because I was trying to find a reason why they dropped the ball. She treated me like a kid, talked over me, blamed everyone but herself, and then proceeded to tell me she was going to call the installer over and over on my behalf. I drove there to get my money back and she proceeded with her attitude, talked down to me, made me feel like I was a bad costumer. So I asked her why I was a bad customer and she said I wasn't. I said it's not good business to be emotional and that I'm a diplomatic and not an emotional person when it comes to stuff like this. She didn't give a crap and then looked down at my legs as I left and said "nice tatts" as if she was talking making fun then . She wasn't complimenting me she was being an a$$. I will never forgot the way she treated me, especially in a time when I was about to pay her $4300 for a stove. A time when my family needed a solid heat source she let us down. If I could give negative stars I would. To add more salt to my wounds her installer sent me nasty texts. You can read for your self. read more

I came in twice before purchasing (while still shopping around) and learned a TON from Michelle and her assistant! I did not realize prior to the call that it was a brand new model that wasn't even in stock in the states yet. Michele gave me great pricing right out of the gate and made sure that i had all the ancillary items that i needed from the beginning. She worked out the fastest and most economical way to get this unit to me, and followed up as items arrived. As things go with new models, we had a few issues with the unit after install.
