Some furniture has cool options - just not sure if all of the power stuff will last. Not sure the materials will last - you can see some wear on showroom pieces. Now prices are pretty low for some things - so you get what you pay for. Worth checking out - is affordable. I would read the 1st review on financing with Cindy - that obviously needs dealt with.

I have purchased two bedroom sets: the cascade and even bought the additional five drawer chest, and the Betty. both sets are beautiful, but the cascade has an amazing design on each of the pieces that I love! It is very unique furniture and an excellent conversation peace. I also bought a dark gray leather power reclining sofa that is beautifully made of high-quality leather. It is so comfortable! It also has hidden cupholders in each of the arms that I love love love! I went back today and ordered two beautiful square wooden end tables and two very unique cone shaped wooden lamps. The bedroom sets and the sofa were delivered on time and installed expertly and without a hitch. The prices are great and the quality seems to be very good as well. I love my power reclining leather sofa as it's made with excellent materials and even has hidden compartments in the armrest for an extra cup. Joel has been my sales person two of the three times that I have gone and he is the best! He's pleasant kind patient and helpful! He is not pushy at all and I do love this about a sales person! He lets me choose the furniture that I want and does not encourage me to spend more money than I have told him that I'm willing to spend. I also applied and was accepted for the Wells Fargo credit card that I chose the 60 month low interest option on. I also didn't have any problems applying for or being approved for this credit. I met one of the managers on my last visit and he was there again today and remembered me and spoke to me in the most pleasant way. I ran into my cousins there and they were buying a sofa set from Jamisha another very kind sales person. As icing on the cake they even have a little café with complementary coffee and pastries. I chose the French vanilla coffee that was so rich, bold and flavorful! I highly recommend you stopping by and shopping at Bob's discount furniture in Winston-Salem, North Carolina! Ask for Joelas your sales person! I have also met two other seemingly kind of sales people: Brian and Jamisha. I just haven't worked with either of them as my sales person. Both times the delivery guys refused to even try to get my box springs up the steps. The kicker is that when I purchased a set 10 years ago (same size no less) , the set went right in with no issue. We found our 'Goldilocks' sectional that would be perfect for our new space - it was (of course) above our price range but there was a Memorial Day sale still running through the end of May so it brought it down considerably. But we didn't like the color... Haverty's has a selection of fabrics to customize your sofa; and it's a place where you can customize almost any sofa in terms of size and configuration. If you've never done this, you can (& should). There was no upcharge. And you get two pairs of pillows (you can choose fabric for those as well). Also, furniture is made with 100 percent wood with great cushioning material and pet friendly options for cleaning. If you're willing to spend more on a couch that will last 10-15 years, this might be the furniture store for you. Drawbacks: wait time for customization (a month, as expected) and delivery charge ($200) - but look: I'm of the opinion that delivery folks work hard doing thankless work so I'm okay with paying for this in a rough economy; unless you have teenagers and a large truck, consider how you'll be helping a local business (I wouldn't pay this amount if this were a national chain). If you're tired of cheaply made furniture (Ashley's) but don't have the bank to spend on luxe (Ethan Allen) then Haverty's might be just be right for you. If you like quirky, try LAZ E BOY: they sell more than just recliners. Note: with furniture, I always recommend you go in person to any store and really try it out; get a sense of the comfort, dimensions, etc. you're looking for. Apparently there's an Ashley Factory in NC which makes for quick delivery). We purchased and received the bed set a few months ago and delivery was so quick and easy. They called to give us a heads up they were almost there, came in, quickly put everything together and were out within 20 minutes. A few days later we did notice one of the end tables had some areas that looked like they had been chipped and they tried to cover it up (but it looked terrible) so we stopped in at the store, explained the situation and they quickly got us scheduled for a swap out. Again they called when they were almost there and quickly swapped the end tables out. We have been so happy with the service in store, delivery, and quality of the furniture!

We were set for delivery today only to find out it was a partial delivery for a pillow. We did NOT purchase any pillows we left the store with two pillows per the sale rep it was included. Now they're saying my bed frame is estimated to be delivered till September which is two months more than we were told. Also I originally wanted a different bed frame but once the sale rep told me it was on back order I decided to go with a different one that didn't have an extended delivery window. Not only that but now we're not getting our bed mattress and box till in two weeks. We have taken our old mattress out since we were told we would get our bed delivered today. Now we don't have a bed to sleep on till August!!!! That's a whole month of wait. Not happy at all. Lies on lies.
