But a week into sleeping in the Queen it actually hurt my husbands back, which they were informed he deals with a lifelong back injury from a car accident. Every store we spoke to offer a 120 days trial. Even now. We had it for 8 days. ( only because they are closed two days in the middle of the week). They offered to pick it up and give us 20% off another mattress. No refunds. No exchanged. It was nearly $1800.00 and they would not ( like the other three places I spoke with ) stand behind their product. Sad. So if you plan on buying a mattress I strongly suggest you try a company willing to stand behind what they sell. This one does not. We obviously went with another company that is willing ( in writing ) to guarantee what they sell.

So this year they got the gift of good sleep:-) When you walk into Sleepworld it's very different from other mattress stores. The national chain stores feature fluorescent lighting and pushy sales people. Not to forget all of their products are off gassing toxic petroleum and fire retardants. Sleepworld is a very relaxing atmosphere. The lighting is calm. The employees are very knowledgeable and want you to be an educated consumer. The moment that I mentioned my concerns of off gassing, I was immediately pointed towards certain products and price points. I was never judged! Nor was I given any condescending crap like, "those claims haven't been scientifically proven," or, "the EPA says those chemicals are perfectly safe!" No, I was given alternative choices. I also had the opportunity to work with Amanda the store manager. Fabulous!! Not even kidding, she's fantastic. I will shop at Sleepworld again! I will work with Amanda again. I love this store and the experience.

I took off work for a Tuesday morning delivery, but Ashley changed the delivery window three times and then never showed up. We heard nothing for two days. When the chairs were finally delivered, that window was changed twice as well, and they arrived in a rental truck because we were told the Ashley truck had broken down. The chairs were left sitting in our driveway, out of their boxes and wrapped only in torn plastic. When we unwrapped them about a week later, we found poor craftsmanship, missed stitching, loose threads, and a puncture hole. Customer service was even worse. Ashley repeatedly placed the burden of solving the problem back on us. One representative requested photos and promised to find a solution. Instead, we received an email two days later saying parts had been ordered and that we should call to schedule a repair. This was never discussed with us or approved. Are they really planning to reupholster two brand-new chairs instead of replacing the damaged furniture they delivered? Ashley also claims damage must be reported within three days, despite its own failed delivery and the condition in which the chairs arrived. I am now disputing the purchase through my bank. We are stuck with two damaged chairs and no acceptable resolution. The delivery was unreliable, the quality was unacceptable, and the customer service was atrocious. When we received the sectional couch we ordered it was delivered; however, it wasn't put together correctly with the connectors. Not all the back cushions had the same amount of "filling" so they were are varying heights when you looked at it from the back. Also, one of the legs was crooked. And the pillows were flat with almost no filling. The worst and most obvious defect was the chaise lounge piece was not the correct size. We couldn't deal with England furniture directly so we had to go through customer service at the store. We dealt with Cynthia and she was our liaison for England. We were told the chaise lounge piece would be remade. We just received it a couple of weeks ago and the replacement cushion is still not the correct size. It hangs off the frame. Please see pics attached. I called again and was told England was going to do nothing else as the variance was within their "tolerance level." I said it was not within ours and it did not look good. They will not do anything else. I will also be contacting the BBB. Please do not purchase anything from them or any England brand furniture.
