Very predatory practices-- do not do lay away or get their credit card!!! They will try to convince you you can make 50 dollar payments or something equally easy, and then there is a balloon payment where you end up paying 300 percent interest. I got a Sleepy's by Sealy's memory foam plush mattress. Every step of it has been a disappointment- the website had wording about delivery and mattress removal, but neglected to include the information that the mattress would be sent via FedEx and mattress removal was not available. I got the mattress, let it inflate for three days, and after two and a half weeks it is noticeably worn out. I weigh about 180 lbs, the mattress does not support that much weight for sleeping. I will not shop at Mattress Firm again. I have in the past, but this time they sold a mattress that I will have to replace soon (from a business that values customers, unlike Mattress Firm). read more

One of the split king frames didn't work with the remote. The installer told me it was the batteries and he didn't have any. I replaced them myself and the bed still didn't work. I was able to connect to my phone but the remote still doesn't work and the bedframe randomly starts vibrating and it wont stop unless I unplug the bed. We also opted to switch two mattresses out. Mattress Firm refuses to accept returns or make exchanges at their store. They insist on sending out their third party sub contractor who showed up at my home to deliver in an unmarked delivery van and the workers were in plain street clothes. I asked one of the delivery installers if he worked for Mattress Firm and he replied "No, I get paid $150 a day by this guy to deliver". I was very uncomfortable as both sub contractors were very shady. In less than 24 hours my home was burglarized and I filed a police report. I'm not stating this was related to Mattress Firm but when I notified them that I wanted to exchange my mattresses and get my bedframe fixed, I explained that this must be delivered by an actual Mattress Firm employee, not the same sub contractor as this would be a conflict of interest under the circumstances. The manager (Daniel) agreed and stated that he would deliver the mattresses and do the exchange personally on 8/27. On 8/27, the same sub contractor arrived to my home. I tried contacting Daniel but no response until that evening that his manager advised against it. I asked him to have his manager contact me but he never did. Daniel sent me a text on 8/28 stating that his loss prevention department wont approve him , a Mattress Firm employee to deliver the mattresses as they are not insured or licensed. We agreed to do the exchange at their local warehouse this week. I contacted Daniel via text 9/11 to pick up 9/13 and he stated they sold my mattresses and aren't available until 9/24 read more

Me and my girl came in today to buy a new mattress. I was expecting to get pushed and harassed as I walked around. To my surprise the employee there was super helpful and not pushy at all. He walked us through what we wanted and recommended 3 that fit our price range and style. OMG. I had to toss out my mattress, sheets, and pillows. So it was a sudden and unexpected expense and I was worried about pricing and delivery. First of all, I got an amazing deal on a queen memory foam mattress in Tucson on Broadway and dodge on Feb. 28, 2018. Wayne connected with me on a personal level (me coming from having several back issues and challenges with sleeping) and recommended me immediately to a bed. I loved it. I went to try it's sister (the medium firm bed) and couldn't believe how great it felt. I actually almost fell asleep in it and he was totally cool with that! He even joked, "I'll wake you up before closing". Not only did I get a new INCREDIBLE bed for the biggest discounted price, I got a mattress protector with a discount and an expensive discounted pillow that is exactly what I need to sleep (it even smells like lavender....mmmmm). I got everything for such a wonderful price, and walked out the door not paying one penny until I was satisfied (they do run a credit check). Not only was Wayne helpful, he was fun, and even asked about some of my interests and just seemed like a really genuine guy. I always get a little uncomfortable buying things like mattresses, furniture, or anything that involves a salesperson because I don't want to be pushed or followed while I am looking around. We needed a new mattress and when we went into this Mattress Firm I didn't really know what to expect. Any negative expectations I had could not have been further from reality. Went to Mattress Firm to purchase a bed we had seen at another store. The staff was very friendly and very patient as we tried out nearly every mattress in the store. They were super sweet with our little girl and even gave her a blanket so she could cozy up on a mattress! Purchased a $2500 extra long twin Tempurpedic mattress before the Covid19 Pandemic. The salesperson told me I could exchange it if not happy with it. I'm not happy with it so called to exchange and was told they weren't doing any deliveries but the exchange would still be good after they started again. Called today to ask about the exchange and was told it's their policy (Mattress Firm's) to charge a 20 percent restocking fee! The salesperson failed to mention it would cost me $500 to exchange the mattress I'm not liking! I had called twice and talked to two other people and was never told about a restocking fee. I would strongly recommend you not shop with this company. When I told the person on the phone today that the salesperson had not told me about the fee, his reply was that the salesperson had been fired and maybe that was why. This was not my first purchase, it was my 5th. But for sure, there won't be a 6th! I gave then one star because I couldn't give them 0 stars. read more
