Took my mother in to look at chairs and she found the most wonderful series of recliners! The sales people were not overbearing, once Alex introduced himself he let us browse but was always in eye-shot and was ready to help with any questions we had. He took the time to talk us through the options of the model she finally settled on and was very patient and articulated well when he realized my mother was hard of hearing. The chairs were on the pricier side, but we caught a sale which basically covered the delivery fee for the purchase (it is being sent to Rio Rico). They will set it up for her and he took the time to show her how to use the complimentary cleaning kit. Well worth the investment for such wonderful customer service. We've been customers and devoted fans of Copenhagen Furniture since they were located on Speedway circa 1978. In the early years their main product was solid teak furniture and we have a houseful that is still gorgeous today; we've added to our collection over the years. We never tire of the clean modern lines and the wood, periodically maintained with teak oil, ages beautifully with a glowing sheen. Now, looking for a leather lounger, we visited our favorite furniture store and found choices of chairs that reclined, swiveled, and rocked. I tried a variety and then the next one called my name. It fits me perfectly - great for short sitters - and the electronic button makes it infinitely adjustable. The gorgeous leather is ocean blue and I couldn't be happier. We opted to add a battery pack to avoid having a cord permanently draped across the floor and it works great. What a nice, hidden surprise in the neighborhood. This Copenhagen store is located in a small shopping mall with a few other artistic furniture makers. My other half and I have driven by and finally decided to stop by. The inside is beautiful and is filled with stunning furniture. Chairs, couches, lightening, art , tables and accessories all Danish inspired. My guy loves the Danish lounge chair and is dreaming of getting another one. He had one that was well loved and misses. As for me, it's all lovely and dreamy but leather is not for me. I did however fall in love with one of the glass dining tables The associates inside are friendly and helpful. After having visited virt every Tucson furniture store today I bought two chairs and a couch from Copenhagen. The employee by the name of Will was easy to work with. He was available to answer questions without stalking the customer. This is a huge turnoff, and a sales tactic used at other furniture stores. I love much of the furniture they carry at Copenhagen. We have purchased a great deal of furniture there over the years (a sideboard, a set of L-shaped shelving, a dining table, a bedroom set, a fainting couch, coffee and side tables, various table and floor lamps, a leather couch), and most of it has held up remarkably well. But I have to say that there, as with most furniture stores, having to dodge salesmen becomes tiring. This last trip through the sales floor, we didn't find anything we couldn't live without (we were in the market for some barstools, a couch and loveseat or chaise, floor lamps and dining chairs) and it seems like their prices have skyrocketed since last we shopped there. We left without making a purchase. I think that's a first. I'm sure we'll be back to try again, but even with the coupon we got in the mail ($100 off a purchase of $1000 or more) I'm not confident that we'll find anything reasonably priced. read more

When you're looking for furniture in Tucson you are in for a long hunt. We just don't seem to have many quality stores in town. Copenhagen's mother store over on Fort Lowell is a lovely store with some beautiful pieces of furniture but it's Danish style. And that's not to everyone's taste or pocketbook. But, if it is, you should definitely check out their warehouse on Ajo. Priced very attractively and you can bargain down that price. I've shopped here quite a bit and bought furniture from them and have no regrets. Just be sure to check them frequently as their inventory turns over pretty fast. read more

When we moved to Tucson 30 years ago, Copenhagen was one of the few places that didn't sell only "Southwest" style furniture. We loved the store then, and we keep coming back. Good style, good quality and always nice variety. While we have usually worked with Ken there, any time he wasn't available, his colleagues have all been great, too. Even now, as there are more options for contemporary and other "not Southwest" style furniture and accessories, we usually find ourselves happiest with what Copenhagen offers. I just moved I to a 15 y/o townhouse. So my older furniture from my previous house was way to big. Copenhagen has a nice selection of very comfortable, reclining sofas and chairs. My son in law has claimed one of the larger reclining chairs as his own when he comes to visit. We all are able to relax and even take a nap in our favorite chair. Years ago, I wasn't a big fan of the extreme Danish look, but now I really like the sleek, modern design that Copenhagen offers. I am looking forward to adding more pieces as I settle in. Furniture is moderate quality for a high price. No complaints about the staff; they are completely uninvolved with you're shopping, they don't follow you and ask you questions, they leave you alone which I LOVE but that's just me. In terms of furniture stores, Copenhagen is really top notch. It's the first and last place we go to to buy basically all of our furniture, for every room of our house. We've been to just about every other furniture store in town, and none have the same sophisticated, quality feel as Copenhagen does. Their products are more "modern" styled. Don't bother going to Copenhagen if you want floral prints or clunky wooden antique pieces. That's not what you'll find. You'll find neat, concise lines and shapes. Lots of darker wood, glass, and metal. Lots of leather, too. Their Natuzzi leather is very good quality, and very comfortable. They have a great selection of Stressless chairs and couches. I have a bad back, so having a place in town that sells quality leather chairs with ottomans is a huge plus. I'm sitting in it as I type this, actually. They can get a little pricey, but if I didn't have this chair, I don't know what I would do. We looked at other stores, but none had anything stylish, leather, and comfortable at the same time. Our dining room and kitchen are also all from Copenhagen. They're both glass tables, with brushed steel chairs with leather seats. We've had them for a while now, and they've held up perfectly. They're spacious, too. Our dining room table technically seats 6, but we can comfortably seat 8-9, which helps during holidays! I also love their lamp and lighting section. Everything is so modern and sleek -- exactly our style! And they have a lot of stuff to choose from. When you walk in, you see a well-lit, clean showroom that's spaced and laid out nicely. The staff has always been excellent. One of the best parts is that they don't stalk you like hounds as you walk in the door. You're asked if you would like help, and you either take it, or they tell you their name for when you do need help. It's the best furniture shopping experience I could ask for. Very low stress. We've probably made 5-6 large and small purchases throughout the years at Copenhagen, and the experiences have been nothing short of great. Their delivery is always on time and courteous. Once, they ended up backordered on chairs that were supposed to arrive. They called, and offered to give us "loaner" chairs to go with our table, which they delivered as promised, even though the chairs weren't yet in. That was seriously awesome of them to do to make up for their own mishap. Overall, Copenhagen is the best there is in Tucson. Check them out! read more

Copenhagen gets 5 stars from us. This is a company with Integrity. We had our glass dining table delivered with scratches on the metal and within a week it was replaced with a new one. That one also had scratches, but the service just kept getting better. We spent an hour with our salesman Roman trying to pick out a replacement table, but nothing fit our space and decor quite the same. Then we asked for one more try at checking their warehouse for a scratch free version of the table we wanted, and they delivered. They were apologetic throughout that whole part of the process, and extremely thorough with their inspection of the replacement table. Plus, they have some Very Cool Furniture. read more

There is nowhere better than Copenhagen for high quality, contemporary furniture with European flair. I have many classic Danish modern pieces, which they also carry, but recently I had to downsize and needed a small sofa. Once again I visited numerous stores and looked online for weeks before I went back to Copenhagen Within fifteen minutes my salesperson Mohammed showed me everything in the store that fit my requirements and I bought a superb little Italian leather sofa that was exactly the right scale and shape. Copenhagen is in the heart of the Ft. Lowell furniture district, and I've been shopping at this location for close to twenty years! Much of the furniture in my house is from Copenhagen. I love their teak furniture, but (as you can see by the attached photos), they currently have on their showroom floor a lot of modern furniture in many colors and varieties... Leather and cloth sofas, numerous dining tables, and a lot of accessories (vases, lamps, framed art, etc.). I believe they even have a person on staff to assist with interior design. Two years ago I bought an office credenza from the business interiors section. Sadly it has not held up well. (and I don't think I've been excessively hard on it). A cabinet door literally came off the hinges, and the file cabinet bottom drawer will not stay shut. This leaves me to question the overall quality some of their merchandise, and how well they back it up. I haven't contacted them, as I don't know if they offer any type of product guarantees. I definitely think their products are attractive, but the level of quality of the newer merchandise seems a bit questionable to me (based on my own personal experience). Today I stopped by the Ft. Lowell store, and they seem to have a lot of items on sale. Good sales prices too! I saw a red swivel chair on sale for $99 (from $159) that I thought my son would love. They have different levels of product lines, depending on how much you are willing to spend and the level of quality you are looking for. I think many people forget about Copenhagen because they don't advertise as much as some of the other furniture stores, and they aren't in a high profile location like La Encantada. They do have cool stuff here... Colorful or subdued, whatever your mood and design theme, they can help you achieve it. read more

The sales person was very helpful and friendly, but did not hover over us or try to up-sell. He gave us helpful ideas regarding how to set up furniture for our specific layout. I originally purchased a Natuzzi zero reclining sofa at the outlet and I was so pleased at how the leather held up to 6 dogs over the years. When I decided I wanted a new sofa, I went straight to Copenhagen. I bought a made to order Borgese in Milan Red Leather and I LOVE it. Soon after, I purchased the beautiful Erik teak dining table and Sanne dining chairs. Finally, I bought the most exquisite bed frame, the Nelson Bed by Cattelan Italia. It was quite pricey, so I put it on lay-away. Two months later, life happened. Never did they complain as the months dragged on. I'm sure it's nothing they want to do regularly! But I was finally able to pay off my beautiful bed due to a new job - in California. The guys delivered my bed into my POD in my front yard, to be transported to the coast.
