We went to Sleepy's on a Friday evening as our first spot to 'just look' for a new king mattress. We wanted a new one, but planned to just get an idea of prices and feels. Jeff was great. He was no-nonsense and gave us direct opinions and answers to our questions. He listened to what we wanted and directed us to our price range. He also was great about walking away so we could talk and just lie on the mattress and not feel pressure. When it came to negotiating, although we know the sticker price is intentionally higher, he really did his best to get us what we wanted. And boom! Just walked out of mattress firm and I purchased a adjustable base and temperpedic bed. The sales man Jeff C. made the buying experience easy and enjoyable. Here is an update on my last review. After many phone calls back and forth my wife and I have made some progress! I'll start by saying that in my first review I stated that we paid an exterminator to inspect for bugs. That was a mistake on my part due to a miscomunication between my wife and I. Sorry for that. We have been told that our warranty has been reinstated, BECAUSE THERE WERE NO BUGS (do not have that in writing yet ) due to the dillagence of our contact Karen, thank you Karen. We were also told that we would be reimbursed for the caritng away of the old bedding as part of the contract, only fourty bucks, but it's fourty bucks, nope have'nt seen that either. And we are still missing the the $ 170.13 we had to pay to get the bedding disposed of. We happen to live in a small rural part of Jersey where you can't just put stuff on the curb and I could not let the old bedding just sit on the lawn untill Sleepy's did the right thing, remember it was summer then. I am waiting on three things. 1: A written statement that says I do in fact have a warranty on this bed, that I do in some ways regret buying. 2: My fourty bucks 3: The money I paid to have the old bedding carted away, which I am quite sure was less than what I saved in buying this bedding from this store Thank you again Karen for your hard work in verifiying with the exterminator that came out free of charge to help my wife and I. Sleepys in Flemington NJ was a great experience thanks to Jamie. I took advantage of a great deal over Columbus Day but when I got the mattress home- it was just wrong. I had to take advantage of the Sleepy's comfort guarantee which I was a bit worried about but my worries were needless. Jamie worked with me, showed me the options and made sure I left a satisfied customer. So my fiancee and I came in at 8:30pm half an hour before the store closes only expecting to take a look at what was available and maybe come back the next day to redeem a coupon we received at shop-rite. The Salesman Jeff C. was able to quickly and efficiently help us find a mattress and we left the store by 8:45pm purchasing a brand new mattress both my fiancee and I are happy with.
