He apologized profusely and explained that they typically don't remove people's old beds but maybe they were trying to help my elderly neighbor and weren't thinking through everything. I don't get this level of service when I'm a paying customer, much less when I'm just calling to complain about something I didn't purchase. Next time I need a mattress I'll look here first.

On the date of delivery, I received a phone call from the delivery team that they were running early and asked permission to come earlier. John and Andre were great to work with. They removed the old box springs and mattress, vacuumed the carpet and dusted the bed and woodwork. A great team. I would go to SleepOutfitters again. High recommendations!

Bonus points for that :) After some time, I made a decision and he quickly assisted with the purchase. The whole process was incredibly smooth! I'm so impressed with the amount of mattresses available to try and with the quality of the store! After leaving, I kept saying how happy I was with my shopping experience. Servco the company that lazy boy promotes in their stores and sells their services is the worst company I've dealt with. In the time the chair was broken, I had to wait months to get any service. One time it was more than 2 months before I could even get them out to look at the chair. Now servco just sends you a replacement part and expects you to install yourself. Do yourself a favor and buy 4 new recliners at Costco and save yourself $500 and the hassle of dealing with the clowns at lazy boy and servco. When the pick-up day arrived we called the store. We called the customer service line, the sales line, the status line for delivery but to no avail. All we got was a voice mail to leave a message. We did this two days in a row. No response. We finally went down to the store and caught a sales rep who showed us to the backroom where our couch was for pick-up. It wasn't prepped. There were no coverings on it for transport. Just a bare-naked couch--like it rolled off of the display floor. We asked the guy who was helping us if he had anything like a cover and he just shrugged and said "no". So we ended up shoving it onto our truck bed and took it home. Fortunately we got it home without any blemishes. I am wondering if we let their crew deliver the piece if they would have wrapped it in a protective cloth. We plan to stay away from this store. In the event we are shopping for more stuff, we'll visit the Dublin and Easton stores. Hopefully customer service is better there. Just answering the phone when a customer calls would be an improvement.

BEWARE If you choose not to sign this agreement they will refuse to make your delivery. I have NEVER had any company do this. My back door was damaged and my kitchen floor was scratched beyond repair they stole my old refrigerator and they failed to install a moisture barrier on the dishwasher that is necessary to keep my countertop from warping. Big Sandy's reply to all this was well you are out of luck because you signed our waiver. I was talked into purchasing a five year warranty. I'm afraid that using that would be another nightmare. What more could they do and then tell me to stick it because I signed some cracked phone that says they aren't liable? Unless you don't care about your house and the stuff you bought don't shop at Big Sandy. Their policies are outrageous. Without having sat on it, what if I hated it? Well, that's when I was surprised to find out that they just recently opened a location in Easton. Could the timing be any better? My mom and I quickly made plans to go over the weekend and I'm so glad we did. Their showroom is absolutely gorgeous and the furniture looked exactly like it did online. The manager, Christian, was quick to greet us and ask us what we were looking for. I was able to tell him exactly what models I liked and what colors I was interested in. He asked me a lot of great questions like what my price range was and the size I needed. Next, he gave me a tour of my favorites. I was most excited about the Holt model and after chatting through the specifics, I landed on the Holt sleeper sofa and even upgraded the mattress to memory foam so my guests would be extra comfortable. I think I was most jazzed about the color I was able to order it in. A beautiful blue-green that goes perfectly with the color scheme of my living room. Since it's going to be custom made, it is going to take 5-6 weeks to come in, but in my opinion, after searching forever, it was well worth the wait. Overall, including white-glove delivery, the price came out to roughly $3,500. And that was after a discount of about $1k. I'm super pumped about it and I'm confident I'll be pleased when it arrives... but, if I'm not for whatever reason, I'll let you know.
