Our experience was smooth because we did a lot of homework before we visited the store, and, once there, we received plenty of help with narrowing down our decision. It's too bad there's not more incentive to make the purchase in-store, though. Although it would have been easier and much faster to have returned home to apply online for the free financing and to schedule delivery, it would have screwed a deserving salesperson out of a commission or whatever. With a little old school haggling, we were able to make it worth our while. Still, if brick-and-mortar stores like this want to survive, they need to do a better job with not existing as a place for savvier shoppers to come in for a free test drive and then go elsewhere to make a purchase (online in particular). read more

I ordered a mattress and box spring on-line for my daughter who lives locally (I reside in California). When I had some questions on delivery, I called this locale and spoke with Don and Iggy over the course of several days, as we were having some challenges with FedEx. The customer service provided by these two gentlemen was superb! They were friendly and professional, returned calls promptly, and genuinely cared about us getting the best service possible, even when things were out of their hands (FedEx). AAAAAAmazing! So...I rarely give 5 stars for anything. However, this time around, this was one of the easiest things that have happened during our moving process thus far. We just moved in to our home and we were in need of 3 twin size beds. We wanted a good quality bed, but we also didn't want to break the bank doing it. We set our budget and Brian did an amazing job explaining everything to us. He answered every question we had and totally worked with us within our budget. Setting up delivery was easy too. It's always a great feeling to be treated like the most important customer even if you are not spending an arm and a leg buying the most expensive product in the store. It's equal customer service and that's always refreshing. Brian even let our little ones jump on the beds to see if it was "bouncy" enough for them. So sweet. To top it all off, the delivery service was right on time. I didn't have to wait around all day and waste my time! That's always great! I had a great experience with this Mattress Firm location. I came in on a Wednesday evening. I was greeted immediately by the manager who asked what I was looking for and explained the color-code system they use in the store so you can easily see mattresses of different types. After giving me some information, the manager left me to check things out on my own without a salesperson hovering, which I appreciated. I was between two beds and he gave me advice on which one was the actual better bed. He didn't try to sell me on a bed that was more expensive. I'm not really into the Tempurpedic or anything fancy. He did, however, give me an incentive to buy that day instead of thinking about it. It was delivered that Saturday within the time range I was given. There was some confusion with the delivery driver on where to deliver, but that's because the address doesn't show up on a GPS. Overall, everything was as agreed upon. Got my mattress, box spring and frame, and I'm sleeping well! read more

Poor delivery service...Great customer service at the store ...Unacceptable delivery. They promised a certain delivery date and they had the wrong address. Next day tthe delivery driver could not find the correct address and wanted to still come after 8:00 at night.Third day and third attempt they were able to deliver the mattress and frame. i am very happy with the sales people at mattress firm. However i purchased a Simmons mattress and had someone from their company come out and check out the mattress. they said that the springs were bad. however when i went to exchange my mattress they told me they couldn't do it because there was stains on the bed the bed is a year old and i don't believe have ever seen a mattress that didn't have some type of stain. even though they have to throw it away they wouldn't compensate me for the mattress to me its a big rip off and i would never buy anything from them. I dashed in at the last minute to purchase a mattress and box spring for my son going off to college. Of course, it had to be delivered but unfortunately not to our Atlanta residence but to his off campus house in Louisville KY. We drove to KY the next morning and soon after the delivery occurred. I had to call Ruona at the store at closing since we needed the split box spring in order to fit up the stairs. Ruona told me that it would have to delivered later.
