I purchased a mattress here about 3 months ago. Last month I attempted to return the pillow top mattress because I had a spinal surgery and the horrible mattress sunk in the middle after myself (a 120lb woman) slept on it for 2 months. The mattress had a mattress cover on it and was completely clean- when they came for pick up they said it had some "lint" on it so they wouldn't return it. I spoke to the "Area Manager" and he told me the deliver driver told him it was "discolored"- Not true and I have photo proof! I was very kind, never rude nor argumentative but I do deserve a refund of some sort- I explained that to the manager and he said he would get back to me.. 1 month later and still nothing. My daughter purchased a box springs/mattress set from here yesterday. They had nothing but great things to say about the sales process, and I can speak firsthand about the delivery. The two gentlemen were the utmost in professionalism and courtesy. The destination was a third floor apartment and they didn't bat an eye. Another local company she purchased from furniture from refused to carry it to the apartment without an additional $200 payment. Not saying who that is, but they're in the Smith Farm center not too far from the TJ Maxx. People like these two gentlemen are why I continue to do business with stores like Mattress Firm and NOT with places like... those other guys. read more

After researching and reading many reviews, my wife and I had decided on a new mattress, a Tempur-Pedic Luxe Breeze. You can buy a small Caribbean Island for about the same price as this mattress and the articulating base, combined. Tempur-pedic holds the dealers to their pricing, so there is not much bargaining in the purchasing process. It is just a matter of deciding where to buy it. I asked a knowledgeable friend which local store he recommended. He was very "Firm" with his recommendation, "go to Owasso and ask for Brandy!" Brandy, a very pleasant young lady greeted us. This was and easy sale. No convincing needed. We looked at the product. Brandy explained the features of the mattress. She let us compare the same mattress only softer and demonstrated the functioning of the base. She is knowledgeable and easy to work with. No mattress sharks here. We met the guy that does the commercials. Friendly guy. He was in the store working a charitable event in support of a local animal shelter. This locally owned Mattress Firm franchise with stores throughout the Tulsa area, seems to be actively involved in the community. I like that. A local radio station was also co-sponsoring the event with live broadcasts inviting folks to come in and adopt a pet. They had a prize-wheel you could spin to win some trinket or possibly a free cat. We stayed focused on the task to buy a mattress. Brandy threw in a nice freebee accessory, to sweeten the deal. If I could give a minus star I would we bought a bed here they messed up the transaction overcharged a $60 on the purchase while on site couldn't fix it then we got the financing bill and the amount was double what was signed on the contract. My 90 year old mother paid almost 1,000.00 for a FULL Size Jamison Mattress at the Owasso Mattress Firm. The First Mattress pillowTop Stitching was coming apart upon original delivery May 21 I reported it immediately. I was told I could pay another 400.00 for a better mattress or wait 2 weeks for another replacement. Today June 5 the replacement is worse qua than the first mattresss I callied and was told by the Owasso Mattress Firm Manager Unless I pay for an upgrade 400.00 there's nothing they can do. i will take her a Quality Furniture store to purch a new Mattress. Ordered in store a week in advance being told by salesman Michael that I would be able to pick a 2 hour window for my delivery time . Get to the before delivery and the same salesperson calls me a liar that he never told me what he in fact did say to make the sale and informs me I can accept an even later delivery another 5 days out or cancel the sale as they where not willing to work with me on a delivery window that fit my schedule. Then after already having my money for over a week as I paid in full in the store the day I ordered he says I have to wait another 5 - 8 buisness days for my Money to be refunded limiting my ability to shop his competitors for the bed I will still be buying. Mattress Firm This company is horrible. Would not do business with any Mattress Firm in Northeast Oklahoma 1. The salesperson was not knowledgeable about what service he was selling 2. The delivery service was rude. a. They showed up and banged on my door instead of just using the bell b. Before I even opened the door they were trying to shove the mattress in and run c. When I advised them I paid for set up and removal of old mattress they said they were contractors and didn't care what I was told they were not doing it. d. When I spoke to the store they really couldn't care less. They did admit that they were wrong about the delivery process and did refund my $40 fee e. After everything was said and done I noticed money was missing from my front hall table. I inquired and was told that the contractor would contact me regarding what happened f. When said contractor did call he called me a scumbag liar and told me he would kick my ass back to Boston (this fine business man is named Jon Cain and he runs Metro Delivery Service). g. When I called the store again they said they would have the owner call. I doubt he ever will h They own all of the Mattress Firms in the Tulsa area. I bought a mattress at this location for nearly $2500 and I love it. The salesman said it would fit my current sleigh bed. It was too tight so I got a saw and cut out the supports (no problem), the installers were in a hurry and installed extra leg extensions. My bed is just under three feet tall , so getting in it is very difficult. I need these extensions removed so I called the manager and she was unhelpful. She said they would come out to adjust it for $80. This is a manager who said "we want you to be satisfied with your purchase." I wish I had bought at another Mattress Firm because of this rude woman. On a scale of one to ten, I would give her a zero. I was coming back to buy another mattress for my guest bedroom, I will have to drive into Tulsa now. read more
