It stinks getting overwhelmed by all the choices but the man there selling them knew his stuff! Answering every question patiently and thoroughly. My fiance and I settled on a mattress and all the trimmings, went to the U-HAUL 5 minutes away, and hauled it to North Pole :) I am so happy with our experience and our purchase. We purchased a new mattress from Mattress Ranch for our R/V and were told we should purchase a mattress cover to protect the mattress. Since this mattress is thinner than normal mattresses, the cover would not fit properly (too large). We attempted to return it for a refund ($110) and were told that since the box had been opened, they would not give us a refund. YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE BOX TO FIT THE COVER! We told them to keep the cover since we had no other use for it. Won't recommend them to anyone. read more

We had been mattress shopping all day and every place we went it was too expensive and the customer service was very poor. We were really discouraged and Mattress Ranch was our last stop. We walked in the door and Joel greeted us with energy and information, and helped us with any questions or concerns. He was great, honestly he could have sold a leopard thong to a nun. We bought a mattress and ended up getting a deal with the sheets, protector and pillow. Extremely thankful for the affordable prices and incredible service. Highly recommend. read more

I'm not sure how anyone can rate mattress ranch with any stars!!! I purchased a king size bed in 2008 for $2000 and it was "the best" mattress they had. HA! By no means!!! I had back problems instantly and went back to the Fairbanks store within a week and told them. They said because I was used to a spring mattress it could take a month for my back to get used to the foam type. After a month I was even worse off!! I told them and they said they don't allow returns after 30 days! What?! I let them know what I was told within the first week I purchased it, and they said I could submit a claim to the manufacturer and it might be a manufacturer defect. After countless phone calls emails and letters and pictures submitted, finally 3 months later I was approved for a replacement. The next mattress was just as horrible!! So I went through the process again bust specified I wanted a mattress from a different manufacturer, same thing! Horrible mattress!!! And I attempted to get my money back and was laughed at, so I said I would try a different manufacturer, and when that finally got processed and approved, they asked me to bring in the 3rd one, there was a faint stain on this one and they denied me, I used their mattress protector religiously, the thing leaked! $2000+ in the hole and 3 years later nothing to show for it!!!!! read more

I give Mattress Ranch five stars. For years my wife and I have dealt with Mattress Ranch and loved the stores, both in Anchorage and Fairbanks. Their prices are reasonable and their mattresses of great quality. They honor their warranties better than anyone locally in Fairbanks, Alaska that I have dealt with. The customer service is second to none. I met the owner, Ted Sadler, in Anchorage, years ago and was impressed with him from the get-go. I bought one mattress at another store and regretted the deal from the second day. They did not honor anything, and we got shafted big time. I will never do that again. Recently, we bought two more mattresses for our RV and our house in Fairbanks, Alaska. I also bought new scented foam pillows, sheets and the works. Wow what comfort! Kayla was very kind, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. We try to shop when she is working. When we got the mattress home, there was an unexpected tear. Candice stayed late after her shift and got us an immediate replacement. Every mattress I have had with this store has been outstanding, both in comfort and durability. Joel the manager has always been very professional, kind and courteous. After our bad experience at the other place, we are glad to be dealing with the Mattress Ranch again. read more
