I've been in your store a few times. Every time I witnessed I the black lady picking on the employees. She shows no mercy when she is angry always berating the employees. I don't enjoy her language while I am in your store and I would certainly not go in there if there were another choice in Fairbanks. I know that Castle Megastore has had a problem keeping employees. There seems to be quite a few terminations. I can't blame the employees for leaving. She has a blue tooth hanging on her ear so she is not available most of the time. She parks her car right in front of the door, blocking the store turnaround. I hope that management will work on customer respect for their customers and their employees. read more

I really like the stuff at castle but I'm always followed around by whoever is working there at the time, trying to tell me about everything that I look at. I really want to be able to browse around without being bothered so much. I was really upset the last time this happened, and on top of that I felt like the person who was following me and my lover was worried we were going to steal things, because she kept trying to get our items from us that we were carrying as soon as we picked them up. I have always had a pretty good experience shopping at Castle. The employees are always knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful; however, last night was different. We walked around the store and only one employee was helpful. While we were browsing around I received a FaceTime call which I quickly hung up. One of the employees came over and condescendingly told me how that was not allowed and that it was "super" that I wouldn't be doing it again. He also claimed it was a liability concern, which I don't understand because Yelp has over 200+ images of the store. I would like to emphasize that he was aggressive and condescending . When we were getting close to checkout another employee told my friend that we all had to check out at the same time so they could do one transaction. The employee became agitated that we did not want to do that. Her reasoning was that COVID guidelines state she must wipe the counter after every transaction. She then stated that she didn't want to wipe the counter every time so it would be easier if we did one transaction and paid with 3 different cards. As consumers we have every right to not want to do one transaction. We were also explained that they don't wipe down everything we touch in the store including the credit card reader , but the counter "must be wiped". Lastly, I would like to add that after our sad experience at Castle these employees did not fail at trying to upsell us at every posible opportunity. read more

AWFUL, start off on a positive note. They have a good selection of items. Now for the important part because Amazon also has a good selection of items as well. The customer service is the worst. We bought masks for a new year's party at the blue loon we didn't attend. We weren't able to return the two unused unwarn still with tag masks even though at the point of sale, we asked if we don't go could we return them?... And the cashier said yes. I personally can't stand liars and will be taking my business online like everyone else. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Everyone that works there is super helpful and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all, which I was worried about (after some sketchy experiences in the lower 48). Their store is huge, and they have everything. . . including some things that my boyfriend and I didn't even know existed. Well what can you say.. this place has a wide selection of products for all walks of life. Went in there for things for a Bachelorette party and was not disappointed. They had everything I could imagine including gift bags! There is even a video rental room off to the left. The only downside is their lingerie seems to only come in smaller sizes. The guy working behind the counter was super helpful with suggestions and made sure I walked out of there satisfied. This is definitely the place I will be going for more gifts like these. read more

Chelsey is such an amazing worker!! She gave us a warm greeting when we arrived and made us feel completely comfortable when we approached her with a few questions. In fact, she helped us decide upon several great products, and even showed us a few everyday items we never even knew were in the store but would love to try! Chelsey spent tons of time with us and helped us find exactly what we needed without once seeming irritated or annoyed. In fact, she seemed quite happy to be helping us, even though we kept her held up for more than an hour. She is simply amazing, and we would have been so much less happy with what we would have bought without her. Will definitely be coming back when she's on the clock!! read more

I appreciate the customer service and privacy, but if we say we want to browse don't follow us around the store and give recommendations on everything. best adult store we've been in. They have something for everyone. Funny party stuff, lingerie, domination, lotions, video, you name it, they have it. Never saw so many folks in an adult store before. It was like being in Walmart. Staff was very experienced with their products and obviously received vendor training on all the new products. They also look like normal folks. We didn't see the piercings and ink usually found in these places. It's an adult store without the adult store feeling. read more
