They both greeted us when we walked in, and Daniel helped us around the store and he was just lovely- informative and knowledgeable, but not high pressure or annoying. This dude knows his mattresses! He had us test out different thicknesses, brands, styles, etc. We learned that this is called a 'clearance center' because, while they do sell brand new current model mattresses, this is also where returned mattresses are stocked if a customer decided they didn't like their new mattresses and returned it- new mattresses are sold with a 120 day return guarantee, so while the 'gently used' mattresses aren't very old and weren't liquidated from a hotel or gotten off someone's lawn or something, I still wasn't comfortable with a used, however gently, mattress. Well I was in luck because they also stock brand-new unsold merchandise. So the new bed I liked in the store for $1200 would be only $600- box spring included- if I got the same model, but just 1 year older. And since it's new, I'll get that 120 day return guarantee too. I couldn't believe I could get a King size Hampton & Rhodes pillow top for only $600- wow! They will deliver and set-up for $50. They also sell a variety of frames & box springs separately. A Yelp check-in gets you a free twin bed frame with a $499 purchase. If you need a new mattress, I would HIGHLY recommend going here. It's honestly the absolute best mattress buying experience I've ever had.

(Also very prominent .... and dangerous.) Far from apologetic, you copped a nasty attitude and acted as though this was MY problem (well ..... I guess it was). You said if (IF?!) I wanted the couch replaced, it would have to be done TODAY. Because, even though I reported these problems IMMEDIATELY, you said I would be deemed responsible for these defects if the change-out was not done TODAY. First of all, there is no way anyone would look at these obvious defects and think I could have had anything to do with them. How am I going to get an INTERNAL staple/tack to puncture the covering and protrude from the couch. And when you see the manufacturing defect on top of the arm, it will be quite clear to you that a manufacturing defect is the only thing it could possibly be. Forget an apology or some simple common courtesy .... for someone who spent over $1,000 at your store. But where is the regard for my time, my convenience ..... for my TODAY? I already took the entire morning off work for this delivery. I work 70 hrs/week at three jobs to support my family. I am 100% self-employed which means No Work = No Pay. I had jobs scheduled for this afternoon, but now I will miss those hours as well because the change-out, you said, must be done TODAY. So, in addition to pissing off my own customers, today has cost me about $300 in lost income. Them's some expensive couches. Finally, you charged me almost DOUBLE what your employee Linda told me I would be charged for the transport of my old couches. (And I tipped your deliverymen very generously on top of that, despite this dirty dealing.) You told me three days ago that the deliverymen would have to assess the job when they got to my home and determine the charge accordingly. But in fact YOU had already told them what to charge me before they ever got to my place -- again, almost double the charge I was quoted by your employee. Some "Discount"! ..... Not happy.

We checked out and paid for our chair with the help of Anya, who graciously assisted us with all the paperwork, scheduling a delivery, and also accurately making a change in the delivery address. The delivery drivers said they would be dropped off the next day, but they never arrived. I called Clint and left a voicemail with no response. I texted him next and he replied that he would look into it. After several days without an update, I texted him again, I texted again to ask about the pillows and received no response. We chose Crowley because of the many positive reviews, so this experience has been very disappointing. I was assured that it would get to me in time and my account was debited for the money that day. 8 weeks passed by and I hadn't heard anything from the company. Not even a confirmation email had been sent. The only verification that I had even ordered anything was the debit to my checking account. I called the company and spoke with Brad. He looked at the order and said that it had been cancelled. I asked him why it had been cancelled with no notice or refund given and he had no answer for me(!). He apologized profusely and assured me that the foam would be cut right away and shipped immediately. I agreed and then waited another two weeks with nothing. I called the company several times and was always told that Brad was either out or would return my call when he got back. I never received a call and was getting tired of this game. After digging around online a bit I finally found an email address for Brad. It was only after I sent him an email threatening to take legal action that I got a response back. Even then, the foam haD STILL not been cut or shipped! I demanded a full refund immediately which finally happened and I could put this horrible experience behind me. I wanted to support a 'family run business' but, instead, was essentially lied to and stolen from! After ordering two very simple pieces of foam to replace chair cushions that have never arrived, I feel scammed. Ripped off. When I went to pick up the cushions (I was told it would be ready on Wednesday; I indicated I would arrive to pick up 3 days later on Saturday), they weren't ready. The owner, Brad Weilert, said he needed 30-40 more minutes to complete the work, took my down-filled covers from me to fit them on the cushions, and said he would deliver them to my home that afternoon. That evening he left a voicemail saying he would deliver them the next day. Again, he no showed. Since then, the phone is disconnected one day/unanswered the next, voicemails are not returned, the doors are locked/blinds are drawn during business hours even though the owner's vehicle is outside and noises can be heard inside. I've sent several emails and finally, late last week the owner responded, asking my delivery address (for the 3rd time). They still haven't been delivered. Nor has my request for a refund/return of my property since they seem to be unable to make good on the cushions. I wish that I had done my research first to see these reviews. The official at the City of Lenexa business license office indicated that they have received numerous complaints and are investigating the validity of the business license. A quick search of county court records paints a very shady picture. Not only am I not only out the hard earned money I paid ($199.37), but also my original cushions and the custom-fitted down filled cover. My chair is unusable without them. I will be filing in small claims court.

I went to this location expecting to find a specific brand of mattress in the store. While they didn't have it, it turns out that mattress probably wouldn't have worked for us anyway. We went through their Sleep System testing, which basically measures how your body weight is distributed, and the person we worked with, Jeff, the Store Manager, guided us to a couple of beds that would work well for us. Pricing was in line with what I could find online and in several of the stores around the area. All in all, I'd recommend them to anyone.
