We are furnishing a second home from out of state. Primary bedroom, guest bedroom, dining room, & great room mostly furnished. As stated, all was great until the delivery. Delivery day came and we found out that Bob's contracts their delivery service to a third party logistics and warehousing company. They arrived with an installer and a helper. Most pieces had to be assembled. We had issues with 2 pieces of furniture being damaged upon unpacking and assembly. Additionally, the delivery personnel got hand marks on my freshly painted walls, scuffed the walls, and out a couple of sings in the walls and moldings. I understand that things can happen. The issue I have is the centralized customer support. They will not let you speak directly with store personnel, rather you can text the store or speak to an agent in the call center. After repeated attempts to escalate my issues to no avail, I searched LinkedIn for Bob's senior leadership and reached out to a Senior Director over inventory and delivery. That finally did the trick. Their executives are caring and responsive. I believe they need to re-think their centralized customer support and rely more on relationships built by the local teams.

No words to us, not even acknowledging us. My son told them where to put the frame, which they built in his room. Then came the box springs (one guy handling it. The coffee table and end table we were interested in, he said they could have it delivered in 6-8 weeks. We asked about purchasing the showroom tables to get a faster delivery and, upon further inspection, the manager said the end table, "has a scratch, but it looks okay." My husband told me that the drawer of the end table did not pull out very well either. Strike one, considering the astronomical price of the table. Strike two: the coffee table's price tag was literally glued onto the top of the table, so peeling it off would also take some of the paint off. Strike three: when we asked about the rug, which was $700, availability, the manager also gave us a long delivery time. The showroom rug had definitely seen better days and my husband said the bottom of the rug was torn up. They were only going to give us 5% off if we were to have purchased it. I'm sorry, but that's trash. If a rug looks that bad, you should be taking more than 5% off. When we told the manager we would think about it and come back, he got testy and said, "If you go anywhere else, they will have to order it, too." I'm not trying to sound defensive, but we are not stupid and do know this.
