I went into Mattress Warehouse in Glen Burnie to buy a mattress for my mom. I can't tell you how wonderful of an experience I had. Cory is absolutely awesome. He told me right away that he would be there if I have any questions or need anything. Well, Cory was true to his words. When my mom received the bed the height of it was just not right for her. I contacted Cory, and he was so great, He came on his day off to try to do everything to solve the problem with the height of the bed, so my mom would like it. Cory made my mom feel so much better. He made the height comfortable for her, so she could sleep in the bed until the new order of legs came in. Plus, Cory could have easily rushed out, but he sat and talked to my mom to ensure she was happy before he left. It is not many days that you find a great person as Cory. He makes the whole experience of finding a great mattress so much easier, and he would not just sell you anything to make a sale. He truly cares about you, and treats you like family. Came here twice. The first time, the woman was talking to us about mattresses, and abandoned my fiancé and I to sell to another person that came in. We went back (I was trying to be understanding), and we were in the store for over ten minutes, and weren't greeted at all. There was only one other couple in the store, and the same woman refused to even acknowledge us. We left, went to Sleep Number, had a great experience, and dropped a lot of money. I'm not one to go out of my way to write a review for a business but the experience I had at Mattress Warehouse changed that. I moved into a new home about a week ago and bought new furniture at competitor stores such as value city furniture. Did not have a great experience with them so I was not looking forward to buying a new mattress when I found out that I needed one. Driving down richie highway I decided to quickly check into mattress warehouse I wanted to only browse around and get my feet wet in this new mattress purchasing process. I was not planning on walking out that day with a new mattress. That changed when I met Ashley. She welcomed me and set me up on the bed match computer to find the right fit for me. After talking with her for a bit I knew that she knew exactly what she was talking about. Well knowledged and extremely friendly. Never once did I feel pressured or uneasy when talking to her like I did with other furniture salesmen. She knew my price range and gave me the best bang for my buck. Now that my bed has been delivered, in great condition with no issues, I can report that everything went well with my experience. I have been having lower back pain for a while now on my old mattress and I haven't felt it since sleeping on the new bed. Quality customer service with a 5 star product that came at an excellent affordable price. What more could you ask for? One word: Ashley. I can safely say without any reservation that I have never experienced better customer service in my entire life. She's has more knowledge about her products and competitors than I have about beer (for those of you who know me, know this speaks volumes). She spent hours with us...conducting the Bed Match analysis, getting to know us and our sleeping habits, working with our spending budget, letting us know where we could save money and where the money really mattered. She made us truly feel like we were her number one priority. This will be my 2ed mattress from here qnd I have to say I never thought I'd review a mattress store but it's time to do so. I'll start off with the first mattress I bought it was q temporary thing for a shirt term fix but needed to be comfortable. My father and I went and we spent I think 400 or for a twin mattress and box, I think we had the frame.but may of bought one here to be safe. The mattress great and fit the purpose. Tanya was our sales person qnd she was as nice as could, be and very helpful, not pushy or qnytbing and she took her time to help and answer any questions we had. This brings me to this review I needed to replace the old mattress it got wore down and broke and it wasn't protected with a protector or anything which was on me, but I got my 3 years out of it thats all I expected for what I paid. So I thought of Tanya and said I want ro go back there and see what they have just because of her qnd how helpful she was the last time. Well she remembered who I was after a short talk and we went and tried a few beds I found one I liked but wasn't fixed yet if it was time to buy or if I could hold off a a bit longer. So I got the information left did some research on the particular bed, which happened to be a bed gear S3 and a bed gear S5. I called a few days later and got the price for a twin size bed as originally I was mistaken and was looking at full size beds. Tanya told me the prices and I told her I'd be back to see her for one of the 2 beds and we went from there. The next day I came in re tried to 2 beds and got myself the bed gear so, I liked the more firmness the 3 had which is firm over the 5 which was mid range plush. We chatted while she was doing the paper work and setting up the shipment as they had none In stock in the store but I got next day delivery. Sadly I missed the memorial day free shipping but that was also on me because I couldn't get back there on that Monday. But Tanya made the experience the best you could ask for when shopping for a new bed, she's as pleasant, nice and humble as can be, she is a credit to your business and I believe anyone she helps will be a return customer just like myself. It was a joy to have the shopping experience I had just because of her. Only issue I had was the store was hot, fix the A/C in there for your employees and your customers and it would be perfect. BEWARE!! Salesman Cody tells you lies and company backs him. I was told that I would be receiving an adjustable frame that had head up, feet up, zero gravity and wireless remote. When delivered, it was the cheapest frame made. Had a wired remote with only head up. When I called store they acted as if it was no big deal. I was even told that the frame I was given was crap and salesman would not have it in his house. I complained about the bait and switch I felt they performed and no one seemed to care. It was even insinuated that I was lying. After telling the numerous lies that Cody told me, (like the fact that he makes no commission on sales but is paid $32 per hour) they agreed to talk to upper management about the situation. Apparently John Gibson condones his salespeople lying to customers. I was told that I could have the frame that I was promised but I would have to pay an additional $212 for it. This company will never get another dime from me. All this after paying $2800 for a mattress. I was even told that Cody will next be manager of the Pasadena store. I would stay away from both stores. She was the only person working in the store that day and with the phone ringing and customers walking in, she went above and beyond to remain connected with us. AWFUL AWFUL COMPANY WITH AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! I bought a mattress 4 months ago that is already broken!! I have been trying for a month to file a warranty claim and have had NOTHING but problems!!! I am disgusted at the lack of responsibility this company has!! I've filed claim paperwork twice, that conveniently never is found, I can almost never get a hold of someone. I've left countless voice messages and NEVER get a return phone call! When I finally did speak with someone on Wednesday named Kevin, I was promised that I would have a letter by today to take to the stores to start the exchange process and guess what!?! I got home, got the mail and NO letter!! I called again and Kevin is not available, no supervisor or manager to speak to! Had to leave a voicemail for the regional manager! My next call is to the Better Business bureau!!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! read more

I went to store and picked out what I wanted. The salesperson said it would be delivered on Thursday. He told me I would receive an email the night before with a "window" of time for delivery. Thursday morning I had no email and so I called the store. The woman said she would call me back. She didn't. I called back. Turns out the salesman put down a delivery date of 2 months earlier than the proposed date. Delivery was to scheduled. I said I needed the bed by the weekend. Could it possibly be delivered Friday afternoon. I specified that I would not be home Friday morning. She said she would call me back. She did and delivery would be scheduled for the afternoon. Friday morning I received an email saying it would be delivered between 8 am and 11 am. I had a doctor appointment so I left my husband in charge. When I got home, the trundle bed was there and put together. I tried to pull out the lower bed, but it wouldn't budge. We realized the settings were wrong and we had to take the whole thing apart and reassemble it. The frame had been put together incorrectly. Not good service at all. read more

We bought our first King-Size bed here years ago, so when we bought a new mattress, we bought it here too. We came in about 8 pm and selected a mid-priced king sized mattress and best of all - it could be delivered the next day. The next morning, early, the truck arrived and they had a California King set. So we refused delivery and went to the store as soon as it opened. The manager, Justin asked us how we picked out the mattress and we replied we just laid down on a few until we found one we both liked. He then said that we should have tried their computer controlled mattress selector, which we did. It gave us list of three different mattresses; of which one was perfect for both of us. Of course it cost a little more but well worth the price. Justin redid the paper work and called for a next day delivery. He was a pleasure to work with and seemed to enjoy his job and actual made the experience enjoyable to us too. Great job Justin. read more

I recently purchased a mattress, box spring, and bed frame. Since I have a car, I talked to them about delivery, which they said they will do. They called the next day to confirm delivery window. At near the end of the delivery window, they showed up and unloaded my purchased items. However, there were parts missing from the frame so I refused to accept that part. The driver told me twice that he would call his supervisor, who would call me to reschedule delivery. I never got a call. I called the store. The store staff looked at my order and it was documented that part of my bed frame was missing and that I refused to accept delivery. She resubmitted the delivery request for the next day. The next day, I never got a call so I again had to call the store. The store staff said that the order was in the system. She also advised me that I could come and get the frame myself. I reminded her of my vehicle situation. I also said I'll get it if they deduct delivery costs, to which she said I never paid for delivery. I discussed delivery with them when I purchased the set and I'm also under the impression delivery was included in the cost. She said no. Now I sit without a frame and my morning is shot cause I was waiting for a delivery call. It seems that if you are a customer, they will do what it takes to make a sale but afterward, your on your own. read more
