My father needed a new bed. He went to the Westminster location and dealt with a manager named Anthony. The worst human being on the planet. Rude and nasty. He ordered the bed in the middle of May 2023. There was a mix-up and when the bed was going to be delivered. Nobody was home when the bed was delivered. My father called the store to talk to Anthony and there lot of screaming and being cussed out by Anthony towards a Retired military senior citizen. I am the daughter and heard the whole conversation on the phone. The last statement made to my father was fu$^ you we will return your money. So, my father and I went back into the store to get the delivery date straight. Anthony was not there that day. It was good day. Dealt with a young man and he helped a lot. New date and paid an extra fee for them to take the old bed away. Finally, the bed was delivered in June 2023. Wrong box spring but the mattress was correct. They would not take the old bed. No credit was given. Called the store and was told to wait 30 days. 3RD time to deliver the bed and it was still wrong. Refused delivery. This time grandson went into the store to get the correct box spring. Paid the fee for delivery. Box spring delivered in Aug 2023. I always thought the customer was right. I will never buy anything at this store. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO RESPECT TO SENIORS. OR NO HOME TRAINING !!!! read more

The good: salesperson helped us find a comfortable mattress that suited our body types. Delivery crew arrived on time and did a good job. The bad: delivery crew demanded $30 cash to remove the old mattress. The salesperson did not point this out, although it was in the sales contract. I would expect removal to be free with a $1700+ purchase. read more

Poor customer service. Will never shop there again. Bought a 2,000.00 dollar mattress and boxsprings for a king bed. The bed was hard and caused to much pressure on my back. We went back to store for a exchange and they jacked price up another 1300.00 and we were told that was the best they could do. Needless to say we walk out. We went to the Mattress Warehouse in Shrewsbury, PA. Nick was great to work with took care of our problem and our new Mattress and Boxspring will be delivered tomorrow. My husband and I have been discussing the need of a new mattress for several years now, but there are so many startups now with new mattresses and it's overwhelming so we just put it off. Oon a whim we went into Mattress Warehouse to just sit on some mattresses to see what they felt like when we were greeted by Glen DePaola. He is very knowledgable, and took his time explaining everything there was to know, and what he thought would work best for us. He was honest too, answered our questions straightforwardly even when the truthful answer wasn't a completely positive one that would help him make a sale. We left the store before making a decision to go to another place before it closed, and when we came back Mattress Warehouse was closed. We saw Glen walking to his car, and when he saw us, he happily offered to reopen the store to do the paperwork if we decided we wanted it. We ended up purchasing a Tempurpedic right then and there. They were ready to deliver it the very next day! I had a work meeting at the time they called and said they'd be arriving, but they were happy to reschedule for me. We worked with Glenn on getting our new mattress (I believe there are 2 salesmen that work at this location). He was very professional and helped us get a great deal on our queen-sized mattress. He said that their store had the most sales in the region, and that doesn't surprise me. The only annoying thing about Mattress Warehouse is that they don't give you your delivery window until the morning (7-9am, I think) of the delivery, so just keep that in mind if you work. If you call the store that you purchased the mattress from, they can help you out if you get a delivery window that doesn't work for you. read more

My husband and I had a truly positive experience shopping for our bed. Glen, the store manager, was very patient and took time to explain differences between the various products while we tried each one out. In addition to the mattress set, we also bought an expensive mattress protector. This turned out to be very slippery and cause the fitted sheet to slide right off. Having never bought a mattress before, I am so glad that I went to Mattress Warehouse in Westminster, MD. Ryan, our super knowledgable sales guy, was great! Not only did he magically know which pillows would best suit my fiancé and me, but he took the time to give us a run down of basically all of the mattresses in the store. He was able to tell us all about the construction and the lifespan of every mattress. He knew everything! Because of Ryan, we are finally going to be able to get a good nights sleep. :) In addition to Ryan being so great, the delivery of the mattress could not have been easier. We bought the mattress at around 8pm in the evening and at around 7:30am the very next day, it was installed in our room. The delivery guys were so quick and efficient that they were probably only in our house for a total of 15 minutes! After mattress shopping at several different retailers I came to the mattress warehouse in Westminster. I am 8 months pregnant and this was just the time with a new baby on the way to get a new supportive mattress. Ryan was great. He didn't play and games and I liked that. I had two in mind that I was interested in and he gave me his best price that made my decision easy and closed the sale as I really wanted to find "the one" and have a reason to stop shopping! Delivery was easy and quick. They gave me a call ahead of time and the two men quickly removed my old mattress/box spring and brought my new mattress in. I recently shopped for 2 King Size Beds at 4 stores in Westminster. By far, Glen Depaola at Mattress Wharehouse in Westminster MD was the best informed and the most willing to address my concerns about quality, customer service after the purchase. I was comfortable that if I had a problem with my mattresses in the future, Glen will do his best to get me all the assistance that MW can provide. Mattress Wharehouse is a large MD chain, so I spent $7100 on 2 King Aireloom beds, 4 Aireloom Boxsprings,2 pillows and 2 mattress covers. Now for the REST OF THE STORY, on Saturday the my 2 Aireloom King beds were delivered. First, the delivery team brought in the Aireloom King to the down stairs Master Bedroom. Then, they delivered the second Aireloom King to a second Master Bedroom on the second floor. Beds were beautiful. Everything was cool, right?..............I thought so too! Several hours later, as we were getting our grandkids ready for a sleepover at our house, my eight year old grandson came running to us screaming that he had seen a black snake with a yellow ring around his head, on the floor next to the new Aireloom King Bed in our upstairs Master Bed room. So on Memorial Day weekend my wife and I began a 3 day tear down of these 2 Master Bedrooms searching for this SNAKE!! On Sunday morning, I killed a 15" poisonous Black Ring Snake in my walk-in closet, less than 10 feet from the new Aireloom King bed that had been delivered the day before. I called Glen and his boss, John Harnly, and explained that we have lived in this house since 2003 and we have never had a snake in the house or in our the garages, until they delivered these 2 Aireloom King beds on Saturday. I asked them to take the beds back and refund our $7100 but they refused because we could not prove that the snake came in with the 2 Aireloom King Beds. I then took the beds apart and inspected them with a high-powered light, to see if there were additional snakes in the beds. In an effort to compromise, I called John back and offered to keep the beds, if they would reimburse us $500 (about the amount of the MD Sales Tax that I had paid for the 2 King Aireloom beds), for the 3 days time it took my wife and I to tear our Master bedrooms apart and the upset of finding and killing a poisonous snake in our house. A snake that in my opinion, came in with the 2 new Aireloom box springs. John said that he would be willing to give us a couple of pillows and some mattress covers for our trouble, because we could not prove the the snake came in with the two new Aireloom Mattresses and 4 Aireloom Box Springs that I paid $7100 for from Mattress Wharehouse. As you can imagine, I refused his less than generous offer, and I informed John that he had lost the opportunity to gain me as a satisfied customer!! I have seven bedrooms in my home and I will never buy another Aireloom King bed, pillow, mattress frame or cover from Mattress Wharehouse in Westminster, Maryland. If you do, beware of problems and other issues; as they will not make them right!! As the old saying goes. fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me- never again!!!!! read more
