Couldn't say worse things to be honest. Matt is overpriced and sends over high school kids who spend a total of 5 minutes at your place to basically check skimmers. Paid $355 a month for people to not even brush. Takes no responsibility for maintaining equipment and good luck getting in touch with them. Even referred them to my neighbor and Matt's group just said no. Business must be good to deny new customers! But sounds like this is the reputation they have built. read more

Our filter cover broke after 20 plus years of use so no complaint. It broke on the Friday before Easter. I called Matt and left a message at about 3pm and I sent him a text to make sure he got the call. It is now the Wednesday after Easter and NO call or text. I ordered the cover myself off Amazon and will install it when it come tomorrow. Matt started out as a very good pool service person but has slowly digressed. They built our pool from scratch, and did not cut corners. Extra thought into the construction, with thicker rebar, piers, and thicker concrete with water vapor barrier to prevent shifting. Every week that they clean, they email a report of what they did, along with current readings. They believe in the science behind good pool care, not selling some gadget with "UV and Ozone" cleaning, that will break down and not be serviceable. read more

This company does not even deserve one star. After the freeze(Feb.2021), we had to get our whole system replaced. Matts came out and gave us a quote. They required us to pay for all parts and equipment up front. Four months later(June), they came out and fixed our pool that was only 3 years old, and we have never had an issue with. Now(August), the heater broke. Matts came out and told us that we did not know what we were doing with the chemicals, and because of that the heater is not covered under warranty. This company is a fraud! BEWARE!!! I sell pool chemicals and know exactly what I am doing. After contacting several pool companies, I was told it sounded like I was sold a defected heater. Matt does not want to stand behind his work and just wants to charge more money for something that is his fault. read more

We were originally happy with the once a week pool service that they provided us. They are great people, but are very inept at business practices. They once lost my personnel check....and there is no other way to pay them.....They finally found it...cashing it two months later after my persistent calls. Typical payment is by personnel check, or cash. This is extremely inconvenient to most folks. We had to drop off a check at their office, or hopefully catch them when they were onsite.....they've no way to pay online, by debit, or credit card.....extremely inconvenient. My final straw was when my wife asked them to winterize the pool about two to three weeks before the deep freeze of 2021....they explained to her that it was totally unnecessary. After the freeze....and many broken PVC lines, I was quoted, by Matts pool service, a price of 1250.00 to repair the system. It was total craziness in my mind. I bought the necessary piping, and repair parts, as well as hiring a Licensed professional plumber to install......for $678.00 TOTAL. We simply, by email, declined their bid, and politely ended our service. After 1.5 - 2 years of loyalty to this company.....never once late on a payment.....they never even bothered to respond to my wife....a Lady who treated their family with the greatest of respect.....Their zero response to her....is an equivalent to spitting me in the face. I've spent well over 10K with Matts pool service, it includes other sub-contractors for work performed in other areas.....and I'm now convinced that I've been overcharged by the incompetency of estimating. I didn't even receive what I asked for in the end. My fault I suppose? NEVER PAY FOR THINGS IN FULL IN ADVANCE... Yes, they are nice folks, and yes, they aren't bad people....and yes, I have been able to save my pool.....cleaner than ever....for 1/3 the price. A learning experience it's been for sure. Please read what I'm telling you, and understand it well. I'm trying to be polite about this thing, very polite. Started out very good srevice. The company kept the water clean and then left.. it is very hard ot pay them they dont knock on your door or call or text you they just clean yoru pool and leave.. after a while the service went down hill, they changed the days that they clean it they never came to the door then compained about getting paid on time.. I owuld not recommed this company they have a horrible book keeping and billing system. read more

This company came out through our home warranty company to check our pump which they did get replaced. However not 4 months later the pumps capacitor is broken. My ex-home warranty company nor this company will give me the needed warranty information or even the info, both of which they did not give us on the repair day, so that I can get a supposedly new pump replaced. Poor customer service also the woman who returned my call was very rude and finally agreed to send me the invoice yet never did. Very upset with service. read more

Lousy job. They first quoted me one price then went up. Technician did not come on the appointment day. I had to contact and ask what happened. The pool needed simple leaves removal, technician added substances and next day bottom of pool was covered with sand and leaves. They answered by saying pool needs more than one visit, every full fee. I had to brush and finish the job myself. Poor communication and lack of consideration for customer. read more

Matts, the owner, came to install a new pump for my pool. The pump refused to prime properly and he was not able to fit it into the return line. Eventually, Matts got frustrated as I kept calling him to resolve the issue. In the end, he offered to give me half of the money I paid him even though the job was not done. At the end, I threatened to take him to small claims court and he ended up giving me a full refund AFTER using a racial slur against me. The guy is new (2012) in the pool industry. I have been a client for a couple of years. Service started out okay, but for about a year now the pool is usually dirty and something is always needing repairs. There is usually poor or no response to communication attempts, hence the negative review here. The technicians that come out to the house now are generally unfriendly and block the driveway so you can't get in or out. read more
