From our initial phone call--where she thoughtfully asked about our child and answered all our questions--her warmth and professionalism were evident. Her genuine love for children and personable nature put us completely at ease. Paulette arrived well-prepared with fun, age-appropriate toys, and our little one bonded with her almost instantly. She cared for our child over three days, giving us much-needed and worry-free adult time during our vacation. The experience was so positive that we will absolutely request Paulette again on our next visit to Maui. We only wish she lived closer to home! When this happened to me, the manager did not have my back, even though I have been kind, polite and generous to every family. That does not vary. The second time this happened, a year and many sits later, I had gotten the time wrong because it was changed, and when the family complained, the owner demanded I pay her the money I earned from the sit...Once I paid her, she and her husband ghosted me...They had hired me as an independent contractor, and therefore I was also ineligible for unemployment...And so I have been struggling to pay my rent since... I spent several years working for them and made them a lot of money, and at the end, I was just ghosted...And I am not the first nanny who has been hurt this way...I've also heard accounts from others, which is why I've decided to speak out against them...

Alexis came in & greeted us with a warm smile, & had a wonderful disposition. My daughter said she had a great time & asked if she can see Alexis again! "Can I have a babysitter again tonight mommy?" Anna (the owner) took care of my two girls while my husband and I went scuba diving. This meant arriving to our condo at 5:30 am. Anna arrived early smiling and was so warm and inviting that I felt at ease leaving my little girls. While babysitting the girls played games, swam, and had lunch. Anna was understanding and happy to follow my overly detailed instructions (particularly with the swimming). My girls LOVED her! My oldest daughter also mentioned to Anna that she would be celebrating her birthday on Maui. Anna not only remembered, but mentioned it to our other sitter Alexis. While my husband and I went out on a date night a few nights later, Alexis brought ingredients for a cake and made a cake with my daughters while we went out. And, to top it all off, I received a text from Anna a few days later with some fun things to do on the island. Anna and Alexis were kind, thoughtful, and amazing caregivers. It is awesome to watch this woman work! My favorite message/video she sent me was of her trying to get my son down for his nap and patting his bum and being so responsive to his cues for more! I was worried Lorinda was thinking I beat my kid the way she didn't want Lorinda to go! Lorinda showed up with all sorts of activities and books for the evening session. For the day she came all ready to play on the beach and in the pool. I have had too many babysitters who won't get wet...well Lorinda is a lifeguard (as well as a high school teacher). So just hire her and get on with your vacation!

The day, however there exists plenty of time for self -exploration am decision making. They provide two meals and an afternoon snack and are open from 7am-5pm Monday-Friday.
