It's an airbnb so who knows what the guest was doing. But when my cleaner tried to wash again - it did not work. At first Amber offered to send him back because of their warranty. The owner chimed in an basically told me to F off and said he would not come back. I had zero issue with paying but at least add wanted the issue addressed - even if he told us - it can't be fixed - it happens - he just refused to go back and stood by "no problem found". We did in fact need to buy a new washer dryer set and our cleaner was not able to use the old ONE SINGLE TIME after his "no problem found" diagnosis. Our Kitchen Aid appliances are going on 15 years right now. (PRO TIP: Kitchen Aid is the "Lexus"…read moreof appliances in terms of quality and build. They never gave us any problems until now.) Up until 2019 we paid for annual service agreements via Sears in case anything happened them. But, with Sears' rickety lifeline, we decided to forego them for 2020 as who knows if they'll even be in business! Service agreements aren't cheap either, costing about $500 a year to cover five appliances. I figured it'd also be wise to not put in extra money to aging machinery as well. Of course after said service agreement stopped, something goes wrong. In this case it was our Kitchen Aid side-by-side refrigerator/freezer - the ice maker to be exact. While it still produced ice, the water to refill the ice tray was shooting out too strong so we had icicles and mini frozen waterfalls on the ice maker and shelves. Enter Kelly's Appliance Repair. EXPERIENCE: I remember my parents used him in the past, so I got his info through them. Phoned and left a voicemail in which he called back soon after. Our schedules weren't jiving that week but once we connected, it was all downhill from there. He came by to look at the problem then called back a few days later to schedule the repair. Turns out the part (name forgotten) that controls the amount of water being disbursed into the ice tray was the cause. The opening got too large from age which resulted in our unwanted Antarctic landscape. The part was changed and he said to watch it because if the problem re-occurs, we'll need a new ice maker. He didn't even leave us a bill as he charges after the problem is resolved. Who does that nowadays? OVERALL: He's the real deal. Honest, affordable, friendly, professional, local-style service. Highly recommended.

My Maytag front load washer decided to lock up with a full wet wash on board...I called around to…read moreseveral services but the first one up was Jalvin...I'm in far Kula and he was here in record time...spent an hour+ getting the computer to unlock and reset its sorry self, testing that it would behave after he left (you know how machines can be if they think the repair guy/mechanic has gone!) Anyway, my wet/stuck load is merrily in the dryer and Jalvin is my new GO TO GUY!! Very fair price and great service!!
