I was searching for the a good BLS/CPR class in the area that was inexpensive and provided quality training. Calvin was great, he sat with the class and broke down the information on steps and products needed for an emergency situation. I got their early and he gave everyone a book and helpful cards. We also had the opportunity to work on infant and adult maniquins and they were battery operated, while I was doing compressions the maniquin will indicate if I was pushing slow or fast. The class was only $60 and I wanted the first aid certification also and it was $75. The location was great for a small group of people and I like the one on one time with the instructor when I had multiple questions. I was certified last week in CPR/AED/ First-Aid. When I say certified, I mean by the American Red Cross and American Heart Association through Mauldin Health Solutions. Thanks to Calvin and his patient training, I feel very confident that I can utilize my new skills with confidence. It was a very engaging and personable class. Calvin made me feel very comfortable with learning the pace of compressions and also dealing with situations concerning children, which made me nervous, even though it was performed on the CPR Annie.
