Rodger Wolfe had an ad in Hippo(a local weekly paper), so I gave him a call. His style was extremely low keyed and friendly, which immediately put me at ease. In talking about my situation, I could see he knew the system inside and out. I probably could have handled this situation myself, but I thought it might be better to have someone who "talks their language", do the talking for me. As soon as he got on the phone with the IRS representative, I saw that my hunch was correct. He was very polite, yet direct, with them, and got the exact results I was looking for - an easy and affordable payment program. My stress level was instantly lowered! His fee was more than reasonable. I have since used him for several times for my tax returns with terrific results also. I sent an old and dear friend to Rodger who had a very large IRS problem and he has been thanking me ever since.

As I walked in thinking I owed more than 3k to the IRS he got it down minimally and took into account many other deductions I had no idea to count for. I highly recommend his services for your taxes.

Run away as fast as you can! Timothy Curran is also affiliated with MML Investors Services in…read moreSpringfield a Baystate Financial Co. My experience led me to believe that Tim and these companies will try to get away with as little effort as possible. I finally removed all my money from Tim Curran / MML / Baystate accounts after more than a decade of getting no help or advice. I got stuck with Timothy Curran as a result of my original advisor leaving Met Life. When I moved out of state, Timothy Curran never even called me once a year to check in over the past 15+ years. When I called him, I rarely got to talk to him directly and if I did it was very brief. He provided no guidance. I usually spoke with his assistant Karen who gave me an attitude whenever I had a question/problem and was not helpful. Whatever other money I had to invest, I decided to go elsewhere. When I finally transferred all my money from MML/Baystate to my other financial advisor with another company, I was charged for a negative balance that I found out had incurred prior to Oct 2015 (after weeks of my investigation) when Met Life merged into MML. No one told me about it or alerted me to that problem or to the fact that I was getting a 5% interest charge on the negative balance every month. I could have paid it off at least 7 years ago! It was the result of an investment that had fees that outweighed the profit, so when I asked Tim at the time what happened to the account, I was told it was closed out. No advice, no other explanation or instructions. When I called Tim Curran for an answer in 2022 about why that negative balance kept continuing to accrue interest charges and why wasn't I told about it before 2015, his assistant said, "How should we know? You should contact MML to find out. We wouldn't have any idea why they did that!" I called MML over 10x and got a different person each time that had no idea what was going on. After a month of calling MML, I FINALLY spoke to a nice young man that explained what happened. It took him 2 minutes. Tim Curran and MML couldn't bother giving me that help and info I was asking for but the details were right there in the monthly reports. I just needed someone to explain it to me and that could've easily been done prior to 2015. The young man felt bad that all the other people couldn't help me and actually gave me erroneous information (someone told me that I was wrong - it was a credit not a debit). When I asked for reimbursement for the interest charges since 2015 due to negligence on MML/Curran's part, I was denied. By the way, when I was told to call Baystate Financial directly, and was given 5 names of people to talk to, I could never get through to a human. And all the people I was told to reach to get help had voicemail boxes that were conveniently full!! And I never did talk to Timothy Curran about it directly. Karen told me she did talk to him for me and he had no idea what had happened.
