I was examined by Abu Sheriff, who completely missed the issue, dismissed it as an "infected skin tag," and sent me home with a prescription.My symptoms grew significantly worse. Two days later, the agonizing pain forced me to go to Patient First for emergency care. After a proper, thorough examination, the doctor there found that it was not a skin tag at all--it was a large, live tick that had been embedded in my neck for weeks. They removed it immediately.Because Abu Sheriff failed to perform a basic, careful examination, I carried a live tick for days longer than necessary. I have now officially tested positive and been diagnosed with Lyme disease as a direct result of this delayed removal and severe oversight.I have full medical documentation, photographs, and records from Patient First proving this negligence. This office is a major patient safety hazard. If you value your health, avoid this facility and this provider.

Dr. Wang is a compassionate doctor that actually cares for her patients and ensures they receive the best possible care. She's very thorough in what she does and if there's a medical issue she can't handle, she directs you to the one who can. She makes sure I follow-up with all of my other physicians and get appropriate tests as needed. No better family physician anywhere. I was very disappointed in hearing of her leaving and will follow her wherever she goes. Commonwealth, you are losing a fantastic doctor. Sad day for you. They also stated that I am expected to pay my balance within 30 days or they will send it to collections because they are removing my payment plan. Wow, this is completely laughable. Do yourself a favor and find a real practice that will show you care and concern. Not one that will refuse you service because of an opinion. Lucky for me I am relatively healthy, but I would hate to see someone with advanced medical problems get a letter like this. There are many kind, compassionate doctors out there. I came in with 3 health concerns and, after waiting about 20-30 minutes, spent roughly 15 minutes with the doctor. My primary concern was dismissed as allergies with little discussion of other possible causes, testing, follow-up, or a specialist referral. When I asked about weight-loss options, there was no discussion of my health, lifestyle, or available treatments, and I was directed elsewhere. When I brought up stress, anxiety, and mental-health concerns, I was simply given a list of providers to photograph. I understand that not every concern can be resolved in one appointment and that referrals are sometimes appropriate. My disappointment was that I didn't feel my concerns were genuinely explored or that there was much effort to develop a plan moving forward.
