They cut the lumber to the size we need , supply what is needed to do the job correctly and they explained everything to my cuz in easy to understand instructions cause my cuz is no Einstein. The supplies are heavy and my back and knees hurt or that's the excuse I am sticking too but that's ok cause the workers will carry it to the car and don't be cheap and tip the guy . Its sad to see so many fall by the wayside and heartwarming to see those businesses that have remained. I had my stairs to the basement rebuilt this week, first instructions to him were to use Glendale Lumber for all materials. I did this knowing full well his reply would be that they are more expensive than Home depot. I am not a rich man, but I will pay extra to a local family run business, always have and always will. The blond oak planks were cut and ripped to my specific needs at no additional cost. Quality of the wood was excellent, no knots, straight and not dinged up in any way. "Back up your vehicle into the garage as to not get a ticket at the hydrant" was the advice of the workers, who accommodated my contractor by loading up the material and attaching a red plastic flag to the end, for visual warning to drivers behind his truck.
