The store was well organized, the displays were appealing to costumers- I want to try them all. The store was also well stocked, neat and clean. The ladies there were all very nice, helpful and friendly. I don't get the feeling of pressure to buy something or to hurry up. I like that it has a sales rack too. A good reason to not buy any gifts here . It created the awkwardness of asking for the $ when the original purchasing party got credit on their account . What I received from the sales person, Marilyn, was a classic sales push to sign up for the credit card. She didn't hear me when I said, I'm just looking and feeling close to my daughter. She clipped the shirt I was holding out of my hand and started a dressing room. Then by the time I went to the dressing room it was full of clothing picked out for me (which would have been nice if I had asked for it. Or wanted it.) but most of Marylin's questions were all about the credit card that she wanted me to "load it up" to get points. It was thoroughly icky feeling. I had a pair of the Venice joggers in my hand as I did like the fabric and they were comfortable. But Marylin kept pushing the credit card and when I finally told her firmly that I already have a credit card that I like to use for points she dropped me like a hot potato at the register, which no one was even standing at. I was like, um...I'm ready to buy these pants I didn't come in for when I realized, now's the chance--get out! So I didn't buy anything and I felt totally happy to leave. The exact opposite of how I felt when my feet had first entered. Sad day for sales. And really hope not everyone gets begged to sign up for a credit card.
